This vid just brought back so many memories! There was a bunch of these by a fence near my childhood home and me and my brothers used to take the dried out ones and release all the fluffys into the air!
Ok so I got these milkweed seeds from a local store. The packets say theres a few different species in there. should I go ahead a sow these now? Or wait till spring? Or do I need to grow them indoors first? Id rather not grow indoors, I'll forget to water them or something...

Milkweed seeds need to undergo winter stratification or they will not germinate. They need to be stored in a cold place, not a cool place
I was just about to type this same thing out. Good job.

@@dynamixx150 depends on where you are in the world. Im waiting until late fall because I'm in Texas and it won't get cold here for a while longer.
Put them in soil and put it in the freezer.
What is milkweed good for? Imma go Google it but I think people need to know the beauty of gathering and living off of nature.
Well many butterflies feed on it in their caterpillar stage. Namely the monarch and some various swallowtails too I think.
Make sure you dont eat them
