    10 Gooseberries
    5 Tsp Red Chilli Powder
    1 Tsp Mustard Seeds
    A Pinch Of Turmeric
    Salt To Taste
    A Pinch Of Asafetida
    1 Tsp Methi (Fenugreek) Seeds Powder
    1/4 Cup Sesame Seed Oil
    Water To Cook Amla

    Hi, preetha I live here in USA and we don't have fresh amla here, u can only buy frozen which is already like half cooked. Is the steps you give for the reciepe is the same? Or do I need to go anything different ?

      Scorpion72 in your case, no need to cook the half cooked gooseberries in water. Thaw and chop the frozen gooseberries and then continue same process from the tempering of mustard seeds.
