- An incredible true story about the first Chinese-American woman to fly for the U.S. Military. Hazel Ying Lee is a mischievous, driven and brave woman who wants to serve her country in any way she can. And for her, that means joining the Women Aviation Service Pilots to ferry planes from the manufacturing plants to their launch point on the East Coast to be used in World War II. But when her plane crashes in the middle of Texas, she has to fight racial stereotypes and a farmer with a pitchfork…

Excellent film and acting and I'm glad to know this story! Randa, good job, and Korby, I see you got your 2cents in too!
I am so proud of all of you for pulling off such a great short film. I have been working on a project about the WASP for decades so its really nice to see someone do such a remarkable job with this. Thank you all so much!

Thank you so much for making this film and Randa great job playing Hazel. As a family member of woman who have proudly served since they allowed woman in I loved this!!
Amazing !! Loved it!!
So inspiring especially on the Independence Day weekend. The music. especially, gave me all the feels. I hope to see this film entered in all the film festivals and especially in The Heartland Film Festival in Indianapolis. Other shorts that won Heathland Film Festival Crystal Heart Awards have gone on to win Academy Awards.
Good for you, Randa!

Loved this short film! Just a great feel good movie and loved Hazel (Randa!)! 👏🏼🎉
Hello, I loved the film!
I make these kind of videos to and i know how hard it can be. But this is better than
anything I have ever made. Keep doing what your doing. =)
Always loved the story of Hazel Ying Lee and Margret Gee of the WASP pilots, is this short synopsis based on real events? Did she really do a emergency landing on a farm during a solo flight?
She did actually. That was a dramatized account of a real-life incident. And she really had the run-in with the farmer too.
Amazing Job Randa. I know Tony and Lisa are so proud of you. I've been wanting to watch this ever since you shared the Trailer for it.
