I bought one scarlet and violet booster box and it was terrible I got 7 hits out of 36packs
love the direction pokemon is going with the pull rates so far

It really sucks that the price of booster boxes has gone up by so much. It makes it way harder to afford for casual collectors like me, and many of your other viewers. So I really appreciate how you do experiments like this to compare which set is better. Thank you for always entertaining me and 2 million other people. @@PhantomAnpu Yeah, I want to start collecting PokĂ©mon scarlet and violet, but it's really hard since the packs are more expensive. I really hope the prices go down soon. I'm crossing my fingers đ€
They are higher but it's also much easier to pull the chase cards, if you haven't noticed people are getting master sets many thousands of packs less than sword and shield packs, so in the end you will most likely actually save money. If you're collecting sealed merch then idk what to tell ya đ€Ł
Is it though? The price has gone up 20% or so, but the pulls have gone up by more than that.
I mean, isn't that the whole point of the video? You get way more bang for your buck.

Scarlet and Violet is such an amazing set, from the pull rates and frequency of beautiful cards is amazing! Sucks about those pulls in Sword and Shield but just proves how great the new sets have been!
Exactly. Sword and shield leaves me depressed. Open 100$ worth of packs to get maybe some vstars non alt cards lol vs scarlet and violet you would get so much more from it. Most sets in sword and shield is more worth to just buy singles instead of wasting time and money on packs
It's interesting to see how it seems like it's easier to pull the illustrator and ultra rare cards, but also decreases the value of those special cards! As a collector I am happy because it'll make it easier to get those pulls!
Educational. I remember getting excited to pull a V card back in 2020 was something beyond the holo. Wow, how it has evolved with Art Rare's and all that new stuff. Still loving it!
Honestly, I prefer the yellow border because it's been like that ever since I started collecting pokemon. I definitely am satisfied with the illustration rares in SV01, however.
I feel like Great Tusk is always the first pull when Rev opens Scarlet and Violet. Such beautiful artwork

This really shows how much better the recent sets have been compared to three years ago. I can't wait to see if in another three years somehow Scarlet and Violet Base manages to be the era's worst set, meaning we'll be getting some crazy even better sets in the future

Scarlet and Violet by a country mile in this one!!! The pull rates are super fair and they are continuous, sure itâs killing the reseller market but I could care less Iâm really enjoying the beginning to this new generation!
It's only hurting the people who only open packs to immediately resell their pulls. 10, 15, 20 years from now because those types of people didn't value these cards as much because of pull rates there will be a lower number of good examples because people will just scrap them or keep them in poor storage.
this set has to have some of my favorite common/uncommon art works. each card looks beautiful, and not to mention the whole trainer gallery is insane. this set is incredible

I like the Scarlet and Violet pulls you get a bit more than you get out of sword and shield base, it does suck though that the prices went up.
It is interesting how much more pulls they are putting in the sets.

Scarlet and violet is one of the few sets Iâm not mad at getting âbadâ packs from because the artwork from the regular cards are STUNNING!
Swsh will always be a classic but sv has my heart with the silver borders. Also gardevoir was my first deck when I was little so I love the alt art line for gardevoir. Loved the vid keep up the great work!
Thank you for the daily content. Fun fact: at the time of this comment the regular miraidon ex is about $7 due to its competitive viability. Some cards from other sets have also gone up in price for the same reason miraidon's price is so high. I recommend Danny phantump's and Dr. applesauce's videos to learn more
if base sets are typically the worst sets then it's could be insane what we see to come for scarlet and violet!

1 of the normal Violet ETBs I got was missing a pack, but out of the 8 packs I got they had some banger hits in 'em. So I was happy. Out of 4 ETBs (2 of each) , 4 sleeved packs and a booster bundle box [45 packs total] I got a Terrastal Arcanine ex (DR #32), Banette ex (DR #68), Great Tusk ex (DR #123), Toxicroak ex (DR #131), Oinkologne ex (DR #158), Doliv (IR #200), Scovillain (IR #202), Skwovet (IR #222), Gyarados ex (UR #225), Koraidon ex (UR #231), Oinkologne ex (UR #234), Jacq [T] (UR #236), Great Tusk ex (SIR #246), Arvin [T] (SIR #249) and Penny [T] (SIR #252). I have some more stuff on the way too, some of my last SV order doesn't get released 'til April 14th. So hopefully I'll be adding more to my binder soon.
Just bought two Scarlett etbs a week back and pulled two hyper rares in one etb and another hyper rare in the other. Needless to say i was pretty hyped up. Not too sure how rare it is

The prices on booster boxes havenât changed where I live. It may be the fact that we had higher prices all the time so sellers havenât changed their pricing yet
