Dang, I must have lucked out. Went to WDW last year for the first time since 2000, and got to hop right onto the ride. Didn't know it had so much downtime
Some tips on the camera, if you’d like: 1) Double press the joystick to recenter the gimbal; 2) Digital Zoom is clearer in 4K; 3) Gimbal mode in FPV lock (looks like FPV-1 in the menu) works well - it will follow where you aim the touchscreen (like a regular camera).
Dude the video on that thing is SO crisp and clear! Also, so jealous that WDW you can buy a Genie and book LL BEFORE going to the park. UNLIKE stupid Disneyland LOL. Awesome detail with the drum case and the stickers. Shocked to see one of my all time faves on there 311!!! Also props on your continued weight loss! You have done such a good job. I am about to embark on that journey myself.

It's definitely an adjustment going from point and shoot to the joystick aming. But from the comments, it seems there is a point and shoot mode on the Osmo. That might just do the trick! 😊 📷
As you work through using the new equipment what has been the pros and cons? There would be the two sides...the recording and then the editing. Has your editing software (please name) been able to deal with the raw footage or have you had to make changes on the work flow?
The camera is awesome! The video looks so vivid in color I love it! The audio as well sounds great its a great device to for vlogging. Thanks for this video.
The new camera looks and sounds very good. It just seems once you commit to it you will master the movements very well. Plus the Chinese get to see all your footage. Thanks for posting.

I thought it may have just been yesterday‘s episode you getting used to the camera but, that thing looks phenomenal. The sound is better. The quality of the video is amazing. The colors are really vibrant. Just enough saturation to make it look great, but not cartoony.
If you got the creator combo, the wireless mic it comes with would help a lot. Also, if you use Follow mode, the gimbal will follow your movements and you don’t have to use the joystick all the time. You can adjust how quick or slow the pan is on the follow mode as well
Cool to see the face to face sticker and SNFU sticker on that drum case, cool find in a Disney park for sure! Love face to face, saw them live a couple times back in the late 90’s early 2000’s..Rad band!

The footage looks and sounds so much better than your previous camera. If you set it to lock the gimbal, you can just turn like a normal camera would. I think it really is the perfect vlogging camera for theme parks or anywhere.
Not sure about the pocket 3, but with the 2, you can set the joystick to operate the zoom instead of directional panning (that’s the way I prefer it, and I feel like that’s what you intuitively tried to use it for)😉
I remember back in like '93 Scott Ian of Anthrax fronted House of Pain for a couple of shows. Never saw it, but wish I did. Most recently he was in Mr. Bungle which blew my mine. That ! on the Starbucks cup looks like it had a mickey as the dot. Enjoyed the video! New camera looks pretty cool. Colors look good.
For the DJI Pocket 3, try a mode like FPV and I think you can set the speed to fast. Which might move faster when you move your arm. There are a few other modes but I think FPV is the one you might be wanting.
It's amazing how the DJI Osmo Pocket 3 looks pretty spectacular without much editing. Especially that it has a D-Log mode for more dynamic editing. I love that camera. At first though I thought the memory card slot was broken. It won't lock in if you don't have solid fingernails. So, I get a toothpick and slowly push it in with that and it works fine everytime.

Welcome to the DJI Osmo Pocket 3 club, Adam. It’s interesting that you got one not long after we ran into each other at Disneyland’s New Orleans Square. I’ve already done a couple of vlogs with it myself, including a 35-minute one about the last day of the Doctor Strange show at DCA. And I think I’m beginning to get the hang of it now.
Video quality looks great! As others have said, experoment with the follow and FPV modes on the gimbal. They smooth out your movoements while still followong where you point the camera rather than locking on a point in space. You can also adjust how fast they respond.
What's up Adam the camera is great, I also have one too I love it. You should also get the magnetic wide screen lens it paints a bigger picture ✌🏻😁 I'm just starting out so I'm in practice for youtube here in Michigan, I hope with a little work I can make it
For the Genie+ (and I’m guessing it will be the same for Multi-Pass) you just pull down on the screen to refresh. If you do it over and over new LL’s will pop up.

HEY ADAM!! Change the gimbal mode to FPV or FPV LOCK mode, I think you'll like it better, it means you don't need to use the joystick
Yes. You dont need to use the joystick to look around. Just lock the gimbal then you could use it like your point and shoot camera.

The colors are brilliant on that camera. It is a pretty steep learning curve at first using a gimbal. I have an OM5 for my iPhone.

try getting the extended battery power pack and tripod it helps add an extra handle to hold the camera and provide extra battery recharge
