My father was a cop he was killed in the line of duty when I was 8 my mom still has his badge and the belt he wore on patrol that was 31 years ago
Very sorry for your loss.

May you be supernaturally protected from all danger.
Thank you for your service. Bless you.
Which department did he work for?
Excellent film. Dick Lowry always made exceptional films.
Great movie, and good actors
Thank you for the upload. No difference then, and now. Except for now a days, whoever kills a cop becomes a hero. In the old days, de Cosa Nostra won't even think of killing a cop. Great performance, plot no diviation from the scrip follows the lines. Thank you for the upload. It's a great matinee.
Joel Cacae of the Colombo Family order Big Dino to kill Ralph Dols, a housing police. You are trying to rewrite history and distort reality. I live in Baltimore, police aren’t being killed here but if you look at the Gun Trace Task Force (which isn’t a one off, it’s happening elsewhere too) you might have a more well rounded fact based view on current criticism of the police.
Lol you must be gen z. That’s nothing new
There was no reason to shoot the cop . Especially when he had that guy right there. Sad and senseless.
Wow I’ve never seen this movie before. That was alright. Thanks 👍🏾
This was a good script & the performances were solid!
Excellent cinema indeed.
Miss Ray Sharkey…RIP dear soul. Great actor. Miss Peter Boyle too…
Damn i remember watching this back in the day..thanks again for making this available
This tugs at my heart strings. This scumbag got what he had coming to him - too bad New York doesn't have a death penalty. That his family would aid and abet someone who pulls these things. This is more than a thriller - it's a social evil being exposed. Had to agree with what those Philly cops said.
Danny should have just let ray take his revenge......ray was a great cop and didn't deserve to die the way he did.......no cop killer should ever see the inside of a jail cell

The Story of Baby Sam Brooklyn 🎉
Good movie.
Decent movie
For a made-for-TV movie, I'm surprised at the quality of the underground hardcore rap that was selected for the soundtrack. Schoolly D's song "Run" is prominently featured in the pivotal cop-killing scene, and there are also songs by the Lifers and The Terrorists. Bear in mind that this was 1992, before gangsta rap had become fully mainstream, and most of Hollywood hadn't yet figured out that street cats were listening to that type of rap. This movie's music supervisor deserves serious props for selecting the tracks that he did.
Pre New Jack City and could be an Ad to just say no to drugs. It’s a death sentence (Drugs)
Facts 💯
Lol this was filmed during that era. This is just a glimpse of what it was like during that time. Nowadays is nothing like back at this time.
Actually, this movie came out more than a year after "New Jack City."
In the Line of Duty: Street War (TV Movie 1992) - imdb 5.7
Love the older movies they are the best ❤ can someone please upload "A Killer Among Friends" please 😊
Prior to and blue print for New Jack City movie.
New Jack City was released before this.
@@TheVidkid67 Yeah, "New Jack City" was filmed in 1990 and released beginning of 1991. This movie was filmed in 1991 and released in 1992. Interesting, Mario Van Peebles, who directed and acted in "New Jack City", appears in this film as Officer Williamson.
@@BunyipDude I remember renting New Jack City out on VHS from Ritz when I was in my mid 20's, those were the days.

This is the good movie but it is so sad and so true nothing but black people getting killed selling drugs even the children God help us.
What a comment. You make me not see it.
@@USE-THE-SECRETtruth hurts, this movie is old. I live in the Oakland bay area it's very bad here, the liberal policies have destroyed this once great state that everyone wanted to move to to the state everyone wants to get their children and themselves out of. Latinos for Trump
That's reality. Majority-black neighborhoods, anywhere in the world, are filled with murders, drugs and rampant crime. You don't see this in Jewish neighborhoods, you don't see this in Korean neighborhoods or Chinese neighborhoods or Japanese neighborhoods, you don't see this in Italian neighborhoods or Irish neighborhoods, the only neighborhoods you see this in are majority black neighborhoods. And wild black people make up only 13% of the population in the United States the account for almost 70% of the crime. That is an absurd statistic. And it shows that there was a cultural issue within the black community that they refused to address or even acknowledge. Instead they continue to blame everyone else specifically white people. Instead of embracing education and strong family values which have been the bedrocks of successful people around the world, the black community continues to murder itself and anyone else who happens to stray into their godforsaken well always blaming the white man.
