  • This episode of the Assistive Tech Video Series we're exploring screentime control features on mobile devices. Following a brain injury, there can be important considerations in regard to phone and tablet use to keep in mind in order to promote a patient’s safety and support their recovery. Screentime Control features on smartphones and tablets include editing availability to certain contacts, setting app limits for overstimulating apps, and scheduling ‘downtime’ to encourage breaks from phone use throughout the day. These settings can increase independence for individuals living with brain injuries while still promoting safe and accessible technology use.
