I love both full and partial silicones. They definitely have their pros and cons. Some sculpts just lend themselves better to one or the other. I think my main pro for full bodies is that they can wear virtually anything a real baby would wear. But I agree, I find partials to have a really nice cuddle factor 🤗
At the moment I'm not keen on silicone babies at all..(they are way too wiggly for me) . As, you know by now I'm tipping my toes into reborn... Having said all that... this little girl is sooooooo cute .such a lovely face .... I think though if I were to have a silicone baby I would go for partial or even a cuddle baby ..... I'm enjoying my self so much with my new hobby... It's so relaxing and I'm spending lots of time sorting the room out for my knew reborn which should arrive soon ❤️so I will have two little baby girls... I'm so excited ❤️

I have cloth body girl called Sophie and she is so sweet I love her to bits. Silicones are better if you want to bath and can look more real when wearing open clothes but can be more expensive. ♥
I have FBS and cloth body silicone babies and me, I prefer the FBS for the way for the feeling in my arms cuz it’s more like a real baby. Plus, it’s more easy to find clothing without the fear of showing the cloth shoulders.

The 2 silicone babies i'm expecting are about to be finished. 🤗😊❤️ At the moment, i just have my partial silicone baby Sarah, who is "Claire" by Ashton Drake. I love her ! Of course, she's not as realistic as artistic dolls but she's so cuddly ! Her silicone isn't very "squishy", but it's quite heavy. The only thing was that her body wasn't enough weighed and when i held her in my arms, it was strange to feel all the weight in her head and her limbs and almost nothing in the middle. I had never "opened" a doll and i loved her too much to risk to damage her. It took me a while but watching all the videos talking about cloth diapers, i had an idea to add weight to my Sarah, without taking her head off : i bought a cloth diaper and a pair of silicone breast "enhancers" ☺️ I put the breast enhancers in the pocket of the cloth diaper, where you can put inserts, and dressed Sarah as usual. The first thing i noticed was that the clothes fitted her much better and when i held her in my arms, i had the feeling i had a real baby in my arms ! 😍 So i don't know yet about full body silicone babies but cloth body silicone ones can be really great. 😉 Evelyn is too cute in this beautiful romper ! 😍 Love and hugs 😘 😘 😘 ❤️ ❤️ ❤️
Hi Lynn! I just wanted to say that if you want to feed a baby, the drink and wet system is definitely a pro with full body silicone dolls. Some people don't care about realistic feeding and changing so cloth bodied silicones are fine then. It's just a matter of how you enjoy playing with them.

Would you recommend a Reborn baby doll or a full-body silicone for a kid who is about 10 years old?
Good question. I would recommend a vinyl reborn, as silicones are more easily damaged and are also more expensive.
