As the world fell, young Furiosa is snatched from the Green Place of Many Mothers and falls into the hands of a great Biker Horde led by the Warlord Dementus. Sweeping through the Wasteland, they come across the Citadel presided over by The Immortan Joe. While the two Tyrants war for dominance, Furiosa must survive many trials as she puts together the means to find her way home.

Where’s the haters? Didn’t know anyone else hated it, I just think no one wants to go to theaters when they can watch at home so it didn’t make a lot of money
@kevdawg55 people saw the main character being a women and cried woke, they complained about the cgi months prior even though George Miller is known to do touch ups all the way to the last minute. It was never the movies fault it was the assumptions made by the masses

Chris did a fantastic job. Dementus was a cruel warlord, a barbaric psychopath. And his character is right; there is no hope for the world. It will never be the same again. All that's left; is anarchy and the darkest side of humanity.

Yes she was very stupid for going back, but the rest of the film is a gem
She couldn’t leave her mother behind. It’s what made her intriguing for me initially.
She’s a child. They’re kind of known to act on emotion instead of reason. Either way she learns her lesson from this point forward.

we're watching character development; Everytime she has gone back for someone in the film, she gets rekt.
It's almost she's like a child with affection and emotional attachment to her mother... I swear you people expect characters and people to act like completely rational and logical robots 100% of the time.
That bloke with the long hair, and beard is such a talented actor with a broad range, he's done comedies such as Deuce Bigalow: Male Gigolo, and action/horror such as three of the six Resident Evil films, and The Mummy. Can't remember his name.

I did not like how this movie gave Furiosa and her mother aimbot with snipers. Always getting headshots of fleeing bikers without missing a single shot over hundreds of meters away, to the point where you can’t even see them
the way I see it, humanity has evolved to a point that their skill level is off the charts (e.g. that one old human encyclopedia guy, or how everyone is a skilled mechanic/engineer).

Oh my God, this is by far the most heartbreaking scene I ever saw on a screen! I was so shocked in the cinema that I also cried tears - what I never ever did before! I admire George Miller, he is a genius, but I also think here he went too far! Nevertheless, Furiosa is the best movie I ever watched.
Guessing you never saw the original films then. This is tame in comparison.

Yesterday I watched the movie for a second time, and we were 3 - yes. THREE - visitors in the cinema! I kompletely changed my mind the last days and I now see the movie much more critically - George Miller made a horrible mistake when he killed Mary, Furiosas mother, so disgustingly and so early. Yes. I'm sure that exactly THIS also killed the movie at the box office - and probably also the whole franchise!

3rd degree burns literally fry your nerve endings so you don't feel the burn, that area on her body would be numb, include the adrenaline she would be feeling aswell and it's understandable

She died so we’d get emotionally attached to the daughter and we’d sympathize with the hopelessness of her situation.
Its showing you how everything in Furiosa's life was ruined by Dementus, and how she becomes a person fueled by vengeance because of it. It's the same reason someone else later on in her life is taken away before they can get any progress.

@@Darkpara1 That's true too, but the sad part is, she also loses her way to it and when she finally arrived back to it in Fury Road (after 7000 days plus other days she said she forgot to count, so 19-20 years give or take), it was such a nightmare of a state that she didn't even realize it was the same place until the others told her of it.

To be fair the new character, the male imperator is pretty max-like and he's good, plus they have an aerial shot showing max with his V8 on a hillside looking down at what's going on so technically he's in it too
Obviously it has to be called Mad Max in the title so younger people who weren't alive for the first two, can know this one belongs to that universe.🤷🏼♂️

@@andrew-rn9ui I looked it up. She was crucified, disemboweled, and her insides were burned/cooked as she watched. It’s similar to how William Wallace was historically executed. Though in this scenario her organs would have also been eaten.

I’ve yet to see a clip from this movie that didn’t have terrible green screen, which is in stark contrast to Fury Road.
Fury road was all CGi too, all of it was shot in a studio.
In real life, movies, and in television. Women never listen.
If only there would be a directors cut to this film, without the silly wike Hollywood ending.

Did you even watch the movie? She’s mute and has to pretend shes a guy for half her life, she has to be trained by the praetorian jack (whos a man) on how to survive, she has to be a sniper because she cant win hand to hand against men, she has to sit out the wasteland war because shes too wounded, and Dementus does even give her the satisfaction of revenge because he’s not afraid of her. She would’ve died without the help of the men in this movie and vice versa. There was nothing feminist about this movie 😂
