      Yeah I must agree with you.. I say Finish Line is my overall favourite after listening to the album over and over again. I really enjoy After All and I would say it would be tied second/third with Orbit or Cold Heart for me!

      @@blizzardz9797 - overall, quite an eclectic collection. I had not gone through the album as yet, so your review was perfect timing. Valued 🙏

    i think u should definitely check rina sawayama’s debut album SAWAYAMA along with her previous ep called RINA. she is just gorgeous im sure you’ll be shocked. And also, chosen family is actually a solo song on the SAWAYAMA album which I think is better as a solo rather than as a feature. I was not born to Elton’s era so i can’t vibe with him a lot, but Rina is just a queen. even though you may not like chosen family a lot, it deserves a listen from everyone because album is so diverse that you can find at least one song on the album that you will not be able to stop listening. For me out of the 13 songs on the album there is only one that i can’t vibe with, the rest is just sign of perfectionism.

    PNAU is pronounced Pneow and they did Elton John vs PNAU which debuted at #1 in the UK in 2012. Every track is made up of various parts of different songs from Elton’s catalogue. I would say you might want to take a listen.

    Hey, B! Excited to watch this reaction video. Chewbacca! 😂🤣. 1). I like the way Dua Lipa works Rocket Man into Cold Heart. It segues beautifully in the song like it’s part of the song. Definitely would be a dance club favorite. 2). Haha. I love your facial reactions to Always Love You. It was like you were smelling a putrid odor. Yes, you are an honest dude! Personally, I do not like rapping and the explicit lyrics in an Elton song. 3). “Kids TV show!” “Kid’s friendly sitcom back in the day.” 😂🤣. You always come up with the best analogies. Haha. I’ve never heard of Surfaces, either, but I liked the song a lot. They have good voices. “Pretty groovy.” 👍. 4). Oh, man! The Charlie Puth collaboration is outstanding. 👏👏. The song sounds like classic Elton John. “Very catchy…. natural balance.” Yes, their vocals go really well together. Goosebumps, indeed. 5). Loving your facial responses to Chosen Family! You really got into it as the song progressed. “That was nice! Beautiful voice.” Never heard of her, either. 😂🤣. Yes, B. Elton’s vocal work is different in each song. Good observation. Elton’s a true artist. 6). You seemed to be taken away to another place during this song. Never heard of Gorillaz. 7). Your eyes during the techno beat start (and when Elton comes in) was priceless! I did not expect that, either! “It’s a bop!” 😁. I’m loving your reaction to this record, B! 8). I was right there with your reaction on Nothing Else Matters. Sounded like Mikey Cyrus sung most of the song herself. Yes, the intro was like a “dark, eerie theme.” I definitely got that vibe. 9). You seem to like the dance beat songs the best! “Funky ass song!” Definitely a disco flow type song. I bet you can really cut a rug on the dance floor! 🕺 🕺. 10). Do you really think Simple Things sounds country? Interesting. I couldn’t place the genre. Hmmm. I’ll have to revisit this song again. I liked the lyrics. Almost a self-reflection. 11). Hey, I liked Beauty in the Bones on this first listen! I’m gonna have to disagree with you on this one, my man. 12). Don’t like this Lil Nas X song, but I did like your singing! 13). Wow! This album really runs the gamut with all these different genres. E-Ticket has that wall of sound rock sound, I think. Elton really jams out on the piano! Honestly, although I love Eddie Vedder, not my favorite tune. 14). I love Finish Line, too. Cannot believe how youthful Stevie Wonder sounds. His voice hasn’t changed, it seems! Wow! And that harmonica! Sounds like it could have been on Songs in the Key of Life. 15). Now Stevie Nicks’ voice has really changed. Wow. Smoking too many cigarettes over the years? Or age? I don’t know. Cannot believe she is the same singer that sang Landslide. B, check out Stevie’s singing on her songs with Fleetwood Mac. Her solo work was good, too. Was not a big fan of this song, honestly. 16). Now, Glen died in 2017. Did you know that? What’s the scoop on this song? Did Elton take an old Glen vocal of this song and then mix it with his vocals and add the music. Hey, B, I really enjoyed this hour with you. Your reactions were great. “I think I’m making some sort of point there.” 😂🤣. You made a lot of great ones during this reaction. You do “get the best of everything” on this album. We get the best of B, too, in this reaction! Thanks, B, I’ll catch you in the next one. Peace out…..

      Firstly, thanks for watching man and I appreciate the dedicated comment 😁. 1) Yeah there is just something about that song that makes it a classic now and I think it is a song that you cannot get sick of, no matter how many times you hear it. Everything just fits so perfectly throughout. 2) Yeah I am still trying to come to grips with that track and I still do not know how I truly feel about it just yet haha. 3) Yeah I ain't the best for describing professional terms so I just channel my opinions into things I am familiar with 😂 a "kids tv sitcom theme song" is the closest thing I could think of. 4) Indeed! After All is still one of my favorites on this album. Overall great track. 5) Yeah I was slow to react to that one as I was trying to take it all in at first but for sure, I really got into it as it went on haha. It's funny how you noticed that. 6) Yeah you should definitely check out some of Gorillaz discography, they are amazing! Elton's part in this really done it for me though. 7) Yeah "it's a sin" was just something else entirely, I was shocked :0. Once again it would be one of my favorites. 9) Orbit was just fantastic! It was the flow and vocal work by Elton that really done it for me though. 10) Yeah I'm not sure now seeing as you are mentioning it. I got country from it but I could be entirely wrong 😂. 13) Yeah I think everything you said here is what I felt as well. 14) I think Finish Line is my overall favorite track on the album, no doubt about it! 15) I will definitely look into Stevie Nicks previous work for sure! 16) If I am being totally honest, I had no idea actually. If that is the case, then I say it is definitely an old recording/outtake by Glen and Elton just used that?
      I appreciate the time you took to write this comment and I am glad you enjoyed the album as much as I did! 😁 Will see you in the next one man.. Peace Out!

      @@blizzardz9797 B, you’re the best, dude! You really are. You didn’t have to take all that time to respond to my reaction to your reaction of the album. I was hearing those tunes for the first time, too, along with you, and I thought I would comment on them and on your reactions as I listened. I appreciate all of your comments. For you to take the time to do that is why you’re the best “reactor” (is that even a word? Lol) on CZcams. Hands down. I disagree with one thing you wrote, “I ain’t the best for describing professional terms.” Wrong, B. You are great at it! By “channeling your opinions into things you are familiar with” is why people can relate so well to your reactions! You put it into terms we can all relate to and understand, and you do it all in your own very unique, interesting, and personal way. I’m glad you are approaching 1K subscribers, as you are so deserving of a following! I’ll be checking out your latest reaction to the ABBA album (as that will be mostly new to me, too), and I am looking forward to seeing you react! Take care of yourself, B, and I’ll see you in the ABBA reaction. Thanks again for taking the time. You’re the best! Peace out…..

    “As an old man - I’m a young man - cause I’ve not been old for long” - Blizzardz - I’m in a pool of tears - but I’ve been listening to Lana del Rey all week so I’m in some kind of an altered state I think LOL LOL - some great lyrics and great songs on here - also loved “chosen family” and the Charlie Puth song - a lot of great stuff on here - I kinda wish they would have left off the Stevie Nicks song - god forgive me she was a great artist but she done so much coke in the 80s that she sounds like a dying antelope in her later years (I still love her though) thank you Blizzardz it was cool to listen with you my first time hearing this record

      Yeah I heard a small bit of Lanas latest record actually and I thought it was real good. I may bring it to the channel after I am finished with ABBA!. Yeah I am still not a big fan of the Stevie Nicks song but maybe in time, I will find the greater good within haha. Thanks for watching man!

    what part of nickis singing was technically bad?? she stayed on theme with the lyrics and gave pop vocals to match an elton song. i dont think young thug was needed but yet you say anything about that verse.. always haters just for haters sake

    • @blizzardz9797
      @blizzardz9797  Před 2 lety +1

      To be honest with you, I was judging the whole song in general yanno and if the parts don't match well for my taste then I would say it. I didn't technically say their parts were "bad". They are good artists, it just didn't match the overall song in my opinion.
