  • Hey fellas,
This is my GEC Raffles Decorative ceiling fan I got recently. The fan has never been installed and the box was still sealed up, hence why it still looks new.
I believe this is the last iteration of the GEC ceiling fans before the brand vanished from the face of the Earth. Despite this, these fans continued to be manufactured for a few more years under the brand “Hero”. The OEM for this iteration is unknown but it may be Emcorp but unsure. For now I’m gonna refer to these as the Emcorp iteration as these were also sold under Emcorp.
Performance is nothing too spectacular, moves typical amount of air for a fan it’s type. There is also a vibration hum present from the motor but it’s not too bad.
    Enjoy! 😁

Very nice! Simple and classic. I like how it also has some brass accents on it instead of being all brown.

Thanks Jean, nice of you to pop by! This is actually my first brown ceiling fan of my collection.

You’re such a lucky person to have a fan like that would easily pay anyone over $1000 for the blades not sure if they’re original but people pay a lot for the blades 😢

I would love to get river the pancake moter or the normal gold line moter ones there’s all different models there’s the brown cane blade which is the raffles then there’s the makay which is the white or beige then there’s the 3 blade wood blade fan which is the Windsor and the the brushed brass and came blade with the school house light kit is the light and breezy and I don’t know what the brass ones with the stencils blades is called
