Young lady this video in one of the very best informative and demonstrative and example showing I have ever seen. No chit-chat - no giggles - no background noise - and more. Well prepped, well spoken, well lighted, camera images created in a way to easily see the products, your working, and the creation. I have been card making for years and I will watch videos that are for beginners to “learn” something new AND you showed a few “new” things I will use! Thank you and best wishes to you.
I have done a lot of crafting of various kinds, and tired of the same old Christmas cards on sale, I thought I'd try making some myself. It was then that I stumbled upon your wonderful Card Making 101. It is exactly what it claims to be, and has inspired me to really have a go. I've bookmarked your video and will be back to watch again. Thank you so much.
I started card making 20 odd years ago when my daughter lived in America, stamping was very new in the uk. I stopped a few years ago and have recently bought a big shot machine. there are so many new ideas for card making now and I enjoyed watching your tutorial. I have watched a couple of sizzix tutorials and find they go through the demonstration so quickly I can't follow it. you are so clear and explain everything so well, thank you
Hello I am from Australia. Thank you for doing the video on card making. I am just starting out and it seemed overwhelming. I am also wanting to get into junk journals, and scrapbooking. Your video helped me to see it as relaxing and fun. Thank you!!! 🦋✂️
Excellent tutorial! I have been searching for days looking for something to help me get started in card making. So thankful that you just explained things and didn't try to sell me something which is what most tutorials are about. Thank you so much!
Thank you for taking the time to start at the beginning. You covered terms used all the time but that newbies have no clue what the mean, I.e. gate fold, A4 and A5. This was very kind of you to share.
Thank you you’re explaining the glues. I see so many demos with no word of glued used! Very frustrating.. from England, it’s a red bottle. But never can see name!

Excellent video!! thank you :) One question--how do you make the "sentiments" themselves like the writing or whatever for example " you make me smile everyday"--are they typed in a certain font and then printed on cardstock or do you buy them already made at the craft store?
Hi Lisa! Yes, you're completely correct! You can either type out and print your own sentiments or purchase pre-made sentiments to simply stick in your cards. We have a selection here for you to browse: j.mp/36tryb0
Hi Lou. Thank you for doing this video. It covers basic and some. I used to do stamping years ago but then other things took over but now i'm back. However, i have found that stamps now need conditioning so we don't get beading on the clear stamp which transfers on to the paper and looks yuck. I have tried many different ways but not with that much success. They do make it a bit better but not a nice clear image. Any tips please. Hugs Wendy
Looks like you really need to watch your measurements when doing the layering because things can get rather crooked very easily. Thank you for sharing 🙂
I am having problems with my glue. No matter what card I use the glue makes it soggy . Am I using the wrong glue or to much. I have tried PVA, and clear glue both did not work.
Hi Janis just last year I swapped all my glues & now use the Pinflair range. My hubby says I'm now a Pinflair geek lol. Love the stuff. From the 3D gel glue to everyday glue it really is fabulous. Just before Christmas they had a super offer 9 bottles & tubs for £45. Which is excellent considering the price of it each. I also use red liner tape, the Purple tape pens & the shaker foam tape along with foam pads. Hope this helps & u get sorted. Andrea Triple A Crafts. Newtownards Co. Down NI
I'd suggest using a running tape for adhering paper (Pritt has a good one). They dry clear and fast and don't soak into the paper. Use the glue for adhering things like plastic or embellishments which require something heavier. Also, don't use too much liquid glue. Use a thin strip or a dot of glue to prevent it from soaking too much.
I love this video ❤️. However, I can tell (I think) that you don’t sew. Paper scissors are rather useless for fabric, I would recommend to get a pair of each. No criticism - just saying😊
Hi there! I am new in business and I have no clue what to do first. Is really imported to register your business before you sell something? I ve done some crafts (homemade) and I just want sell them, but where will be the best place? Shall I create a logo 'handmade by me''? In store I don t think will be possible to sell the,. I don t have a VAT, registration, nothing. Any idea will be helpful. Thanks.
I couldn't watch this video. The lighting is too harsh, the audio has no warmth - either edited too heavily, or recorded in such a way that it's clipping the audio waves to start with. It seems to have recorded a lot more in the higher registers, but not much in the lower registers, which just makes it sound like your stereotypical "calm female GPS" voice.

Finally a tutorial NOT by a Stampin' Up demonstrator. Thank you.

The best video ever!
Brilliant. Thank you.
This is really helpful for a beginner
I realy enjoyed this video. :)
I want to make quite classy cards so this is perfect!
העבודות שלך מקסימות! גם אני מעבירה הדרכות בתחום הזה בסקראפ בכלל, כייף שיש עוד מישהו מעולה בתחום.
Youre awesome! Thank you for sharing, however, I would love to see the steps of how to write font onto the cards
Usually it’s a stamp and ink or just printed from your computer onto some card stock! Fancy people will sometime write their own script too :)
This was so good and needed. I'm a beginner and this was a perfect beginner's guide. Thank you for well taught lesson.
This was very helpful , as am a newbie . Starting off making Earring cards first 😊
Hey, that sounds fantastic! Happy crafting!
Awesome update
Wonderful tutorial! Do you offer a course for beginners?
Awesome Thanks
Thank you very much.

Once you have made the card how would you send them as there are no envelopes
Linda Lawson Maybe a bag?
Make your own envelopes.
Yeah so beautiliflul😂who else noticed it
I find the music really distracting, going to have to try listening again and again. But thanks for a very nice video.
Very interesting video but not what I would consider beginner.

I noticed that too lol
Just Cards By Sara nobody’s perfect
They’re handmade, not meant to be perfect.
Only 2 minutes in, and you're already beyond the beginning basics. Moving on to simpler videos.
