UNC ORGANISES MASSIVE ‘NAGA PEOPLES RALLY’ IN MANIPUR

- The United Naga Council (UNC), the apex body of the Nagas in Manipur state has organize a peace mass rally on August 9 in all Naga areas of Manipur for resolving the Indo-Naga political issue based on the Framework Agreement. The rally was held in Tamenglong Headquarters, Chandel Headquarters, Ukhrul Headquarters and Senapati Headquarters. More than 30,000 people participated in the rally. A memorandum was also submitted to the Prime minister of India by the United Naga Council in demand for the final settlement of the indo-Naga political issue with a sense of high urgency

It seemed to me like we nagas don't exactly know why we come to the streets, most of the time we are driven to walk the rally without knowing it's aim. We are fooled and our voice muted by the GOI with some cash. We have sold our integrity so they know we can be manipulated.
Let us stand our ground, let not money or selfish interest deter us.

Six district of naga in manipur and about town there may be nine or ten in my knowledge but me as naga from manipur but can't visit all my naga district

there are many villages around plus 213 in ukhrul, 146 in tamenglong, 669 in Senapati, 264 in chandel district, and also their respective towns..
@@bla621 the villages are situated mostly in outskirts and are still underdeveloped. Moreover bad road conditions, some villages have no taxi services at all and people travel on foot till now.

Majority Nagas(any) do not support their ST demands since we know their motive behind it. If they get, Nagas and Kukis should also be remained as one statehood disposing meiteis against their over powering on tribals. In this way, they will enjoy the reservation without our interruption and Nagas and Kukis would also have no problem but greedy meiteis wouldn't want that too.

@@emhoikhongsai5865 There is a huge difference between the Kuki and Meitei vurses Nagas... Nagas are much far ahead of Kuki on the ground of the political stand. Nagas are not fighting The Manipur government or The people of Manipur. While the Kukis are fighting with the Meitei community. And you want to join hands with you(kuki). More than 8,9 decades Nagas have started this struggle of freedom movement.
Now it's turn for Naga to play a big role in keeping peace for whole Northeast peace rather than making Manipur a battleground. I believe the peace will prevail once again.

How could our PM & HM, who are perceived as 'uncompromising Hindutva nationalists', have agreed (in 2015) to a separate Naga Flag & Naga-Constitution and Greater Nagalim ? Compromise with Naga [as well as with Kuki & Mizo] Militants, due to the Business and Political interests of BJP's foreign sponsors, has bought us only temporary peace. Now, this rally is to blackmail India, while Kuki Christian Kukis' militancy is rampant in Manipur for a separate Nation-State. All these days, Hindu Meiteis were thanking Nagas for so far staying neutral in Manipur-Conflict. Nagas are probably instigated now by the Church to mount pressure on India, and they are indirectly threatening to join Kukis in their fight, if India doesn't bow to Kuki separatists now. Don't worry Naga Brothers !, Our PM & HM are sold out to let Meiteis doomed and allow Christian Narco-Terrorist Nation to be formed in Kuki region first, which will then assimilate Mizoram and help create another Nation for Nagas too.
