Sincerely i live in Canada. I have been here just two years and to say i am tired already is an understatement . I live in Mississauga which is not far from Oshawa where your guest live. I came as a student where i spent almost thirty thousand dollars as tuition and other fees/expenses. I work now but 35% of my income goes to taxes. The stress here is too much, you have to pay bills upon bills.. my rent/utilities is almost $2800 monthly for a two bedroom apartment. You pay rent, electricity, water, insurance on car and credit card bills etc. That's almost N1.5Million in Nigeria's currency monthly. I own properties in Nigeria and i live as a king but here its a different ball game. The cold weather too is not helping matters. Sincerely after watching several of your videos i am thinking of coming back and just settle in one African country. Ghana or Rwanda.

People have no idea. At least you have come and experienced it for yourself. Life in Canada is stressful. Have met people from other countries who had a high quality of life back home and living like paupers here in Canada because a huge amount of their income ( doing jobs they hate) is going towards BILLS. Make your exit plan Cousin before the physical illnesses set in.

As a dark skin black woman I've known my beauty and never questioned who I am or my beauty. I don't see light as right, people are just people to me. Most people say the same they tired of living abroad due to the stress, strict system, racism, robotic system, work work work system, they decided to move back to africa few months later they can’t also stand the nonsense back home, they start packing their stuffs to run back to the diaspora. We Africans living in the diaspora we neither here nor there. We are confused, We living in foreign countries our mind and heart is back home, working so hard to go back home settle down in africa , we go back home but due to the messed up system, after living abroad for years and used to the organise system, it makes it hard for us to cope and adjust with the system back home because we are expecting to have the basic amenities and facilities we enjoy abroad, we find it difficult to live among our own people back home due to lack of trust, lies, massive corruption & bribery, lawlessness, everything is politics and religion, people can’t think and reason as normal humans, poor roads, poor infrastructures, poor healthcare system, all these eventually makes you to think of running back to the west. Hustlers don’t have peace of mind. Is like you have a whole lot of burdens on your shoulder, pressure here and there. That’s why some hustler move back home few years later and they die. Because of too much thinking, depression, lack of sleep, stress, anxiety… you don’t have time to enjoy your life, your life is all about back and forth, moving here and there. Anything happens back home they call on you. Is sad and pity, but that’s the reality.

Why do Ghanaians always ask the diaspora why they want to move to Ghana? It's like Ghanaians don't value their own country. I have been watching CZcams and paying attention to what people are saying when they travel to Africa. From what I have gathered so far, Ghana has a very rich culture, and people are interested. It is about time Ghanaians take pride in Ghana and stop asking questions like why would you want to come to Ghana.

We are confused, We living in foreign countries our mind and heart is back home, working so hard to go back home settle down in africa , we go back home but due to the messed up system, after living abroad for years and used to the organise system, it makes it hard for us to cope and adjust with the system back home because we are expecting to have the basic amenities and facilities we enjoy abroad, we find it difficult to live among our own people back hime due to lack of trust, lies, massive corruption & bribery, lawlessness, everything is politics and religion, people can’t think and reason as normal humans, poor roads, poor infrastructures, poor healthcare system, all these eventually makes you to think of running back to the west. Hustlers don’t have peace of mind. Is like you have a whole lot of burdens on your shoulder, pressure here and there. That’s why some hustler move back home few years later pass away. Because too much thinking, depression, lack of sleep, stress, anxiety… you don’t have time to enjoy your life, your life is all about back and forth, moving here and there. Anything happens back home they call on you. Is sad and pity, but that’s the reality.

Wow! This interview is everything. How you described the colorism thing ( in the Caribbean, Latin world and Africa….wait, India too) and the pain from your own family that they perceived you as ugly with strong African features, these are deep psychological wounds already. Even though I’m aware even of how Latinos encourage their daughters to “improve the race” and get light skinned babies, your experience Mo brought it home, cemented it for me, how strong the programming is. You’re a gorgeous woman. And someone somewhere wants to compare you against a European standard of beauty? 🤥
Yeah, we were lied to!!! Most of us are miseducated and confused. Africans both at home and abroad need to wake up. Like now!
I hope the host can talk about bleaching, all the bizarre wigs and self-hate. How can we go about loving ourselves again?
To the couple: Enjoy Ghana and the rest of African countries when you visit. And yes Kirk, you’re a Free Man in Ghana✊🏿

As a Jamaican, its so sad to hear her speak about feeling ugly because she had the most prominent African features. Unfortunately, this still exists in our culture. The programming that white features are the definition of beauty still exists to this day. My sister you are gorgeous and you beautiful melanin skin shines through enhancing your natural beauty. Keep Father God Jehovah name on your tongue. You can find God’s name in the King James Version of the Bible at: Genesis 22:14, Exodus 6:3, Exodus 17:15, Isaiah 12:2, Isaiah 26:4 and Psalms 68:4.
“ If you declare with your mouth, “ Jesus is Lord, “ and if you believe with your heart that God raised Jesus from the dead, you will be saved. “
