Yes your work is great. I have question which control strategy is used to make Vq=0 can you suggest some literature or reference so i can work on it.Please.
This video is brilliant and explains the PLL excellently. However, just 2 things, the output from the PLL needs to be limited by +pi and -pi so that it does not ramp up to infinity. The second point is that, isn't cos the active component and sin the reactive component, cos(phi) + jsin(phi), cos(phi) is active and sin(phi) reactive. Thanks
The most valuable content ever! Can you please tell why you have taken -sin() and cos()? Can you please tell literature from where you learnt this logic?
Great video ! . Is there a book you can recommend that will help explain the theory ? Also it would be good to see these simulations used to to design a real controller and used then to control real converter hardware - the full lifecycle - 1. simulation , 2 .controller code and hardware implementation , and 3. integration of controller with converter hardware . This would be a really great series of training videos .
Sir, please make more videos on interleaved DC DC Converter (Buck, Boost, buck-boost) using multiple IGBTs. It will helpful for us. If you include those topics in your channel it will be exactly pack of knowledge.
Based on your simulation, grid voltage angle is measured from the q component that you are trying to set to 0, but tita is actually the angle between the d-axis component and apha. Is it possible to measure tita from d axis component while we still control q aaxis voltage to zero? THANK YOU
Hi, thank you for the simulation. I have Problems with the solver und am getting diff(strange) results . Can I share my simulation file. Thanks in advance.
First, thank you for your great video. My problem is when I implemented PLL , the phase shift between alpha and active is 90 , the same in beta and reactive wave., Any suggestions??
Hi, thank you for the simulation. I simulated the PLL. My solver settings are same as yours, but getting diff results. Valpha and Vbeta values are not calculated correctly ie not sinewave. Ouput of PI controller takes a long time to stabilise to 0. Can you suggest something or if I can share my simulation file. Thanks in advance
Hi sir . I run the simulation like yours. But it shows the error outtput port not connected. The two Demux port are not connected. So kindly tell how to rectify that error.
Thank you for the wonderful video sir. On page 147 of the book "DOUBLY FED INDUCTION MACHINE" by R. Abari et al.,the output of the integrator of PLL is the angle of the grid voltage but in page 281 of the other book "POWER ELECTRONICS FOR RENEWABLE ENERGY SYSTEMS, TRANSPORTATION AND INDUSTRIAL APPLICATIONS" 90 degree was subtracted from the output of PLL to get the same grid voltage angle. Please can you explain the reason for this? Does it have anything to do with using stator voltage oriented control or stator flux oriented control?
how could I apply active power and reactive power control by using this method. For example, if I would like to supply 1kW or 1kVar power separately to the grid, what should i do. Thank you
Hi. I have a question. The component Vq is zero but the component Vd is negative. If the component Vd is aligned with Vgrid, the component Vd should be positive or not.
Hello, Thank you for the informative video. I wanted to ask one thing here, the final output of the PLL was two signals. Can we get "Angle" as an Output?

Excellent Video, thanks a lot
Thanks a lot sir that I can't explain 🙂🙂🙂🙂
glad that it helped
Great video sir
Great video.
Thanks sir. Can you please write the transfer function that you used for PI for PLL?
I wonder whether you made it wrong that sin(wt) should be a reactive component while cos(wt) should be active.
iT IS A VERY GOOD VIDEO

Is there any logic in PI controller tuning? Because i didn't find proper guide for tuning this conventional 3 phase PLL

No, for grid connected. for grid forming PLL is not required

Hi, can u tell me please, what happens if the q axis is aligned with grid voltage instead of d-axis?thanks
Sir
when I am taking distorted input then I am not getting smooth active and reactive component. Can you please short out this doubt?
Am I able to reply this work only by MATLAB code? Because after that I need to implement this on embebbed systems. Thanks!
how are we getting reference current from the PLL block at output if we are getting Vd Vq at input ..?? It should be refernce voltage

yes... think the sign is wrong on the summing block
Hello,
Thank you for the informative video.
I wanted to ask one thing here, the final output of the PLL was two signals. Can we get "Angle" as an Output?
Yes. Taking the inverse of the trignometric functions
The output of the integrator is the angle.
@@TechSimulator could you please explain how? Also, is the angle 2pi?
❤️❤️❤️
