Thank you for this! I have 2 children with autism. I never thought of getting an ID for them on the off chance they wander off. One is nonverbal. I never go anywhere for that fear. I just ordered an alert bracelet and an ID. I can't believe my nosiness about what is in your bag led me to do this!

What's in my bag videos are a very specific type of ASMR for me, I love them.
This video was so cozy and chill to watch, but also felt very comforting and relatable with the tangles and other slightly less glamorous things that some people have to keep in bags for health and well-being!! I just discovered your channel but I'm so excited to watch more ^-^
I don't have autism but I do have chronic migraine issues so lots of our stuff overlap: constantly having paracetamol on me, earplugs/noise cancelling earbuds, snacks for sudden dips in energy...Now pair that with always having sunglasses and orange tinted glasses for any artificial light and we have a match! Autistic folks and chronic migraine folks have so many things in common, I learned many tips and tricks for dealing with sensory overload from people with autism, forever grateful!
i have both autism and chronic migraine so when looking for resources on how to minimize a lot of my pain i consulted forums dedicated to both : ) sensory issues are terrible bit we are all very strong for dealing w them constantly
As a very nosy person, I always enjoy these type of videos. I feel you with the lip balm. I only have one opened at a time (bc I get worried that it might expire idk it's very weird) and always the same kind.

I really do wish the sunflower lanyard was more widespread in the US. I worked retail and I'm also disabled, so seeing it from both sides makes me really wish we had a stronger hidden disabilities program here. The only places that seem to have them are probably 20 US airports, and not even the ones I use.
Noise cancelling over-the-ear headphones are essential for me. Plus I prefer backpacks for comfort.

Yessss autistic gang! I also can't go anywhere without gum or mints and it has to be the mintiest you can get, like borderline mouthwash flavoured. Spearmint is too sweet!! I also love those clicky stim toys, they make my brain happy.

I’m still using my sunflower lanyard but I also noticed so much abuse around it and it makes me feel icky because I really rely on mine (and the cards) to do the talking for me.

this one was quite expensive too! but around 2 years in and barely any wear or tear. i think bags are one of the things worth investing in if you can/want to!

I have never heard of the sunflower lanyard or autistic card before watching videos like this. What are those called? I don't know if you can get similar things in my country or not... maybe it is just a thing in the UK?
The lanyard is called the hidden disabilities sunflower lanyard. They seem to be pretty universal however there is more information on their website. And they do cards as well but not the specific ones in the video.
