I've been with the HM/SoS series since A Wonderful Life, but Animal Parade has been my favorite ever since it came out. AP and ToT had such a refreshingly different style, amazing crop/animal/romance variety - nothing has compared since in my opinion. That being said, the moment I saw those outfits in the art I FLIPPED out! I've always been hoping for Switch ports of these games at best, so the idea that they could be remade or built on more fills me with so much genuine joy.

Same!! A wonderful life was my very first and I LOVE ToT and AP!!! ❤❤❤❤ I hope that they do a switch port of the two but I am looking forward to this multi-player idea as well.
I'm honestly losing my mind over Project Dragon!! 😱💕 It looks incredibly promising, and I'm so glad they decided to be bold and take a new direction with it.

I loved RF4 to death and put HUNDREDS of hours into my 3DS playthrough. I skipped over 5 because I read how weak of an entry it was and the 3D models bothered me. If a RF fan could give me an honest recommendation to play it, I might give it a go. That being said, after seeing the trailer for “Dragon” I gotta say I think this is a good direction for the series to go in. I’m curious if they will use similar aesthetics for 6.

Combat gave me Demon Slayer vibes, especially when the protagonist used a fire sword, and I’m all for it!
@@Cognazzo95 yesterday I've started to play RF 4 on Switch, my very first RF game ever. I took a few previews of part 5 as well, but decided to go with 4 which I really do enjoy so far exploring everything. This dragon RF looks pretty hot to me cause I do love and adore dragons anyways.

I just noticed but if you look at 03:55 on the right side with the cow, it looks like the male protagonist from Trio of Towns!! So I think there's most probably a thing with returning characters or outfits from previous games.
You're right! If you look at the left, you will see female protag of Trio of Towns too. Also I can see FoMT/BTN protags in that picture too :")

Really hoping the multiplayer game is a spiritual successor of Tree of Tranquility and Animal Parade. I’ve been wanting an Animal Parade remake or remaster for the longest time because it is my favorite game in the Story of Seasons series. Really hope we get something in the style of ToT and AP! Been wanting something like that since the announcement of the Wonderful Life remake!!!

I was disappointed with Pioneers of Olive Town so I am hoping the new game will improve not only with it’s graphics and bring back things they got rid of in Poot. Like character sprites when you talk to villagers {I hated looking at the models even with the camera option making it so you get closes up} and improve with festivals{they got rid of a lot of them making there be less incentive to improve crops and raise your animals} along with improving the villagers since they were pretty boring compared to other titles. Also, hoping for one day a remake of Animal parade {we got a mineral town remake and we are getting a wonderful life remake.} it would be nice to play it on switch.
I am more looking forward to the Rune Factory games. Since we got more of a look at the spin off than the new Sos. Dragon looks really interesting and the focus of eastern influences is really cool. It seems like it will have the ability to romance characters like the other games. There isn’t much about Rune Factory 6 but I hope it is an improvement on Rune Factory 5. I enjoyed some parts of 5 but lost interest in it compared to 4.
Same Olive town disappointmented me after returning to the series for awhile and so many things where not as fleshed out (animations, portraits and even the art style wasn't appealing). I even bought it day one WITH the dlc to support the game too :/. I kinda wanted to get ruin factor 5 but the gameplay and seeing peoples complaints made me not wanna get it (seems like a lot of wide lands idk) but definitely these games look promising

I so badly want a remake of Animal Parade. I have a list ready of improvements they could do to the game, but overall that game is near perfection for me.
Same, man. POOT was so underwhelming. But from these small clips, the new SOS game alr looks way better. And RF Dragon looks amazing. I am so excited!😊❤️❤️❤️

I'm so hyped for Rune Factory Project Dragon and RF6!!! OMG I never expected them to give us 2 new games in the series! 😭🥺 I'm so overwhelmed! I need that new SOS game too! Definitely getting a collector's edition of all of these new games + rf3s golden memories

I’m still waiting so hard for Animal Parade remake and I hope this means they are planning of AP remake somewhere down the line! It’s always been my favorite title growing up and I can’t wait to see Gale in newly updated sprite similar to PoOT!
I hope they bring back character icons when talking to them again. The characters felt so flat in PoOT both personality wise and expressions

I’m SO excited for Rune Factory Dragon. It looks SO good and the combat looks very clean. It does give Genshin vibes but I love Genshin Impact so I’m not mad☺️

I'm excited for basically all of these! I loved RF4 and 5 and i love the story of seasons games. I can't wait for all of these
I really hope they do an Animal Parade and/or Tree of Tranquility remakes. Those were my first HM games. I've gone back and played earlier ones, and they were good, but those 2 will forever hold a place in my heart.
They are also games, but I thiythey are way too new for them to be making remakes yet. Around 20 years seems to be the stranded for remakes.

@@Goldensouloutlawap came out 2008 for Japan it’s only 5 years off being 20 years old I wouldn’t call that way too new for a remake plus maybe they’d want one of their most popular games to be under the story of seasons name
ever since the first Rune Factory game i've always found the world building fascinating and it always made me lament that each game was set in a single town and it's surrounding dungeons.
we get mentions of other nations like the eastern nation, the nation of elves, the Secht Empire/Replublic and Nolan from Frontier even mentions that he's from another country to the north. we've also got various races like Dwarves and Mermaids that are implied to have their own societies.
and even though we always hear of it we never get to see it. until now that is. now we finally get to visit the eastern nation and i am so excited.
there was also another thing that caught my attention. although we didn't get much information about Rune Factory 6 one thing that was mentioned that caught my attention was when the guy referred to the setting as the continent of Adonea. as i've said i find the world building in this series fascinating and i think this is the first time the series has ever mentioned that there are multiple continents. this probably means nothing to most people but as someone interested in the series's world building just the idea of multiple continents and their names means a lot of me.
These look amazing! I feel like SOS and Trio of Towns were really peaking in the franchise, with everything going super well. Pioneers honestly disappointed me, so I hope they might keep the good parts and return to the previous formula. I would adore a Animal Parade remake, it was honestly one of the best in the series. Both of the RF titles look really cool too. My dream remake though, would have to be an Island of Happiness and/or Sunshine Islands. Island of Happiness was my first entry in the series and as clunky as it is now I still adore it.
So so excited for these announcements! I worry a bit about the team tackling multiple projects at once, but I'm remaining hopeful!
Thank you for releasing this. I saw the announcements on channels for others, and watched there because they released their videos first... but I will always watch your announcements for games, too, because you provide additional details and observations that most others don't. I appreciate your attention to detail, comparisons to other games, and theories.
I can't wait for the new Rune Factory games. I also hope the new SoS game brances out a little in their town structures. I liked PoOT but it definitely wasn't great in my opinion. Trio of Towns has been my fav that I've played so far. I'd like to see more of that, where they play with the diverse cultures and settings.
I'm always happy to get more SoS/ Rune Factory games. Love seeing Rune Factory get more spin-offs too.😍
Not a big fan of the rune factory graphics in this one but I’m in love with the graphics of this SOS this is the path I wanted them to take graphic wise !
I'm so excited about all these reveals!
1. The seasons on the first SoS game looks beautiful, the main thing we talked about in our team was farming sim can get repetitive so while gameplay is number 1, different visuals might help people feel refreshed about the game. The reused assets is fine, it's cute enough to justify it but I can't wait to see the villagers and if they will add more festivals cause that's where the fun begin😁
2. The multiplayer SoS is really interesting, I hope there will be multiplayer contests and stuff. but tbh, just looking at the concept art really make me want to play it so bad
3. RF Dragon project, it seems like they're focusing on combat this time since we see very little of the farm and with the director choices. I see them slowly moving toward more action through 3-4-5, they're a perfect mix between farming and RPG before but is slowly leaning to one side more than the other as for lately. Honestly I'm just excited to explore the world and the combat and effects looks so cool
4. As a huge fan of RF, from the logo it seems like there will be something involved with water, doubtfully there will be ocean exploration but a gamer can dream 😭. Continuing from number 3, I think with them separating the game between 2 projects is there a chance that they will focus more on the "chill" part? but I agree with you that it will be a classic RF experience. I hope there will be more amazing characters because their writing is so good!
So exciting!!! Also I love the art style in tree of tranquility and animal parade so that would be awesome if the new game was similar to those visuals ☺️

This is awesome. I don’t have the new remakes yet, but now it looks like we’ll have so much coming up. Very exciting. I just hope we get some character customization in the new RF games. Like we got with Harvestella, even in the demo. That’d be great. ❤
I'm so excited for these games, especially the SOS games. I'm hoping for couch co-op to play with my younger sister. I immediately thought of Tree of Trainquility when I saw the farmer. I honestly wouldn't mind if it was a sequel to SOS PoOT as I really liked that game. It would be cool if having a save file of Olive Town unlocked something in this new game. I just hope they fix the maker situation if they return. I feel like the makers took up too much space, especially in the early game before unlocking the sprite areas.
I hope there will be couch co-op play for SOS too, so i can play with my partner

Neither game was mentioned as a remake, but the suspicious lack of details for the first one means it definitely could be one! The multiplayer SoS idea has me very excited!❤❤❤
I’m losing my mind, the original Harvest Moon games brought me so much comfort when I was younger!! And to see a new Story of Seasons coming out…God, it’s incredible. No matter how far out the release dates are, it makes me so happy.
I loved Animal Parade so much and immediately got the vibe from the footage they showed. Excited!
I love the graphics direction for all of these. Cel shading is my fave for these type of games.

I totally geeked out at the SoS announcements, especially the Bubble Cow!!! Loving the graphics! I wonder how they are going to do the multiplayer game.
I'm also wondering if one (or both?) of the SoS games are going to come out for the 30th anniversary, or if they will come out before and we will get something else for the 30th.

I feel like I recognize the environment from the first one. It looks like SOS A New Beginning! If you look at the scene with the cow, you can see part of the map is a higher level and it has the path going up to where the farmhouse would be!
I can't wait for the new one. Back to Nature was my favourite, with the first named "Story of Seasons" being my second favourite. Would love one with the story focus of BtN and the gameplay focus of SoS

I'm watching this after reading Farm'n Friday, but Cher also made the same hypothesis, that the first game will be similar to PoOT, same as how previous versions had twin art styles. It's quite interesting, but good eye nonetheless!
I'm also quite excited for a multiplayer harvest moon game! Def keeping my eye out for that one!
This is so exciting!! But I was really hoping for a magical melody remake. That was one of my favorite harvest moon games back in the day. I’m definitely excited for the new ones too though! I just hope someday we get a magical melody remake.

I'm so, so, SO excited for all of these, especially the two Rune Factory games!! I'm losing my mind over how amazing Project Dragon looks! Both (what I'm guessing are the) protagonists look gorgeous and it seems like they both exist in the game and might be rivals/enemies, so I'm REALLY hoping the opposite gender character is a potential marriage candidate (like in Tides of Destiny IIRC). This is such a great time for fans of SoS and RF!
Harvest Moon Tree of Tranquility was my first farming game so I have quite a soft spot for it haha but the multiplayer one really peeked my interest!
Will be nice to get a fresh perspective on our older beloved releases like AP and ToT. I'm not that excited for SoS as I am for RF6 but time will tell?!

This is really good news because i love Story of Seasons. I'm counting down the days until i can play a wonderful life because i didn't play the original. The first one looks very promising and for me what i want them to focus on is the characters. I appreciate interesting dialog or more complex villagers. I think getting to know them and earning their friendship is what motivates me to play. Farming is apart of it but i need goals to make me want to succeed as a farmer.🎉
One game that I would love to see get remake is Grand Bazaar. Idk why but it was one of my favorites. That the sunshine islands/island of happiness mainly because Island of Happiness was my first hm that i owned.

I love pioneers of olive town, am going to buy a wonderful life next month and i would probably buy the new one that got announced as well. I love the story of seasons series! I also have all games on my nintendo 2 DS that came out for it too and story of seasons friends of mineral town on steam

I miss the ToT and Animal Parade games specifically, can't play either because the wii is in storage. I miss them so much....seeing those outfits immediately brought that back, I can't wait to see what they will be doing with the new games!

AWL and FoMT always have a place in my heart but... Animal Parade was just... amazing. Those are probably my top 3.

Honestly just glad they're doing so many remakes/remasters of previous games. I really enjoyed revisited Mineral Town, and we have A Wonder Life coming soon, so seeing Animal Parade art again is exciting.

Tho small note the sheep in the new Story of Seasons game does not have a new model, that's just the model for a baby sheep from PoOT, so they reused this as well. It wouldn't make sense for them to only remake the sheep right?

I clicked so fast when I see your thumbnail video, I didn't even read the title 😂 okay, here is my comment. It will be long tho.
1. I'm so happy they make new SoS game that is not remake. I guess they really follow the pattern of new game -> remake -> new game -> remake -> new game. But there is still no information about the new game. I'm excited to know more about it in the future 😊 that scene about two dogs playing in autumn is so cute.
2. I think the second game will be like spin-off that has different game mechanic like usual SoS game. Maybe like mini game-ish?? I don't know if you understand what I mean 😅 Since they will bring co-op system in this one, this will be like farming game that let you play with your friends or family. Also I like the idea that they bring back protagonists from older games. I see protags from Tree of Tranquility, Animal Parade, Trio of Towns, and Friends of Mineral Town/Back to Nature in this picture. Maybe other protags will be there too
3. Finallyyyy a Rune Factory game that take place in Eastern Region 😭 I always want them to show us the Eastern Region since we are always in Norad Kingdom. We have met many characters from Eastern since RF 1 - RF 5, but we still don't know about Eastern Region. Since this will be spin-off, I think this one will be more combat based like RF Oceans/Tides of Destiny. If there will be farming, it won't be like the usual RF game. It makes sense the producer is not Yoshifumi, since they also have RF 6 as new project, Yoshifumi probably focus on that one.
4. Yesss Rune Factory 6 is in development too! I think this one will be like your usual RF game. I'm actually okay with the same concept or mechanic for RF game. It looks repetitive but play well with me. But I wonder if there is something new in RF 6 since they always bring something new in every RF game that make them a bit different with their older game (for example Dragon Field in RF 5, shop mechanic in RF 4, etc).
In conclusion I'm sooo excited to see all of the four games. I hope there's not a problem in the development. I hope they can release polished game so that it won't be a disaster release like PoOT and RF 5. For me gameplay wise for PoOT and RF 5 are good, but they didn't run well in Switch. As for me, I don't really feel the issue since I played them in PC. They did well in SoS AWL remake, so there is hope.

With so many farming sim coming, I gotta start saving money now! But I was really exited when they announced 2 new Story of Seasons and the spinoff for Rune Factory. I cannot wait to see more of those games :)

The Project Dragon looks so good! We got two protagonists on opposing sides? Would that mean showing two sides of one story? Also, did I read that right and the title sequence translates as Dragon Country? My expectations for it just went higher. I'm excited for Project Dragon.

the dragon game looks like genshin to a T hahaha. i love the art concepts for the everyone plays SOS game and im so excited that there's a focus on visuals for the new main title for SOS. that's the one im most hyped about from this presentation and then RF6 if we get any of other info or visuals
