Downtown Las Terrenas has a different vibe at night time! I walk to downtown Las Terrenas to take in the street music, street scenes, and restaurants. I feel safe, walking from Hotel Oasis where I am staying in the Popy Beach area. At the end of the video, I show you the walk home at night time, along the Promenade, back to Popy Beach. Moto Conchos, taxis on scooters, 100 pesos, are always available if you don't want to walk at night time.
NOTE: The small, family-run beach restaurants are cash only. The larger restaurants accept credit cards. SMOKING: Unfortunately, there are no restrictions about smoking. Smoking is prevalent in the restaurants, patios, bars.

Nioce video 👍. Paco Cabana is a nice French Restaurant. Lovely French Owners. I like it. OK, nothing for dancing. XO is a lovely restaurant, too, a bit more expensive though. Best restaurants are said to be El Lugar (Belgian) and Le Tre Caravelle. Not to forget about Cayuco and Casa Grande ( La Bonita zone). There are many dancing clubs like Afreeka and Solaz which you mentioned in one of your other videos, La Bodega, Babylon, Casino, Mosquito and others where Dominican dance schools offer animación turística.

They usually don't play traditional American Christmas Carols in the D.R. 🇩🇴 . There is Christmas music but it sounds like Latin music. Probably not distinguishable to a North American.
