Beautiful ,historic, building.
What a shame. I remember going in it as a kid. I seem to remember the side doors off the main corridor were individual businesses.
This building is now almost entirely occupied and these elevators have been modded.

People program restricted elevators and elevators that go to restricted floors that are unlocked to not close when you push the button or door close because they want higher authorities walking by to catch you.

I just noticed something odd. You go to a floor, get off, then a few minutes later you have to wait for the elevator??? It should still be there! Someone else is there using the elevators...
I wonder if they could convert it to residential space, either apartments or condos.

What a perfectly good waste of real estate space; I agree with HungryGuyStories -- it'd be great if they didn't allow this wonderful building to remain in a state of atrophy and proceeded to convert it into some sort of residential space. The potential is definitely there.
