I have planet zoo on steam and loved it. However, my pc was an aging man with one foot in the grave, the other on a banana peel. It went a few years ago lol. I tried geforce now, which was ok, but kinda annoying especially with a que. So glad its on console now so I can enjoy it again.

Ultimate is $159.99 in Canada, but I'm such a fanboy of zoo simulator games I'll be dropping that in a heartbeat for all the DLC when it becomes available.

I’ll go for the deluxe edition because it’s only $10 more. It’s not too much of a big jump in price from the standard edition and the 16 additional species seems like it will be worth it.

Unfortunately we have no news on this yet however in my opinion from the way they have been speaking it will be digital only unfortunately.

Picked up the delux version. Love this kind of games and soo far I'm very impressed of how good this game is. It's very unique. Campaign or career mode is a good way to start and think strategically when placing stuff.

If I were to buy say the deluxe edition would I get the two packs straight away? And can you buy all the other packs straight away once you get the game or will I have to wait for a year?
Yes, as far as i know you will get access to those 2 DLC's as soon as you are able to play. As for the rest they will be drip fed, meaning we'll probably get 1 released each month

I just bought it for xbox and hooked my mouse and keyboard to my xbox. Works like a dream. I wanted to buy it for pc, but my computer couldn't handle the game, unfortunately.

I have had PZ on PC since launch and have purchased every DLC as they became available. For my PS5 I spared no expense and just got it over and done with by purchasing the Ultimate edition. I have been looking forward to having this on console since day 1 of owning this amazing game. I hope they keep adding more to both PC and Console. Took days off on the 26th and 27th because I am going to just lose myself in the animal kingdom and play. ; ) Anyone know what time the download will be available in the UK on the 26th?

I would imagine every month or even more frequently since 16 have to be released in 12 months before march 2025! Any questions just ask :)

I pre ordered JW evo 2 premium and have played it since but it over time it lacked the creativity i wanted, from the looks of this games creativity options and the animal science course im currently studying for my brains just booming woth ideas
The ultimate edition including the season pass is available now on the xbox store. So much creativity in planet zoo, the best of frontier's game for building in my opinion. Glad you are excited!

@@isacco8908No, because the DLC‘s release one after another. It‘s common in most games, that the DLC‘s come like monthly or even after six months.
Here it‘s the same case.
I‘m not a fan of it too.
For me it‘s useless to buy a season pass at launch.
I mostly buy games with a season pass when it‘s on sale. At that time they‘re always some DLC‘s available.

I had planet coaster on Steam, and I was absolutely in love with it, so I looked more into it and found planet zoo, and I wanted it so bad, but my PC broke so I've been waiting ages for a console version. ( literally a few years)

I want the ultimate edition, however, when I played planet coaster on console my theme park build limit capped out at around 10 percent of the available build space so if that happens again our zoo will have no space for all the extra animals

No worries, you could buy each of the DLCs individually as they are released throughout the coming year. However this will cost 1.5X more than buying them in the season pass bundle which can also be purchased on its own to add to the base game from release day. Hope this helps.
I think to go ultimate edition but not sure. I think most dlc will go down in price after - 2-3 months. If all dlc come out next month I buy ultimate but have to wait a year for the last dlc.
I would expect the dlc to go on offer after everyone has been released in a years time personally. They will want to push upgrades to the season pass I think.
I preordered the ultimate edition but i have a job earning 2000 a month and i really enjoy this type of games so for me i love this. In my opinion it depends but if you really into it i think the deluxe edition is the best tbh . Anyway i hope everyone who preordered or gonna buy it have a great experience .

I am a Mac user/console gamer so I was always bummed I couldn’t play this. Ready to dive right in! I love planet coaster and I have over 2000 hours in Jurassic world evolution 2… gimme dem animals!

Simply just buy as much of the animals and refresh the list to get the skin pattern you desired

I highly suggest pre-ordering/ordering the Deluxe Edition pack. It has all the animals you need for your parks.
But I also recommend Standard Pack if you don't have any experience with Planet Zoo at ALL. Plus, it's less money coming out of your wallet.
I don't recommend the Ultimate Edition because, come on, look at that price

Then again, i am pretty sure most people who like the game will put at least 120 hours in. Then it will be worth the price. Thats how I always decide if I buy a game or not. In the pc version I am already at 180 hours and nowehere near done

How does the season pass work? Is every dlc guaranteed? Does it cost the same when you buy it when the game is released as when you pre-order it. How does it work?
The season pass will guarantee access to all DLCs. The DLCs will be released every few months to encourage people who don’t have the season pass to buy them individually. The people who have the season pass will then have access to each of the DLCs as they are released at no extra cost. The game will most likely cost the same during preorder and on release day. Any more q’s just ask thanks 😌

Good question. Yes, it’s definitely worth it, there won’t be a planet zoo sequel anytime soon so this will be the best zoo game for a while I think. Also remember there will be one more brand new dlc very soon!

I've been waiting years for this game to come to console! I was a huge fan of the original zoo tycoon when i was a young teen, and kept going back to it as I got older. These days I love building parks in Jurassic world evolution 2.

The deluxe version does not give you those I got it and it didn’t get me those I had to buy them
Many people have had this problem, your DLC's will have likely been ready to download but not automatically downloaded in your game library. Really sorry for the confusion and difficulty.

I understand that this game is really good (i have it on pc) but as someone who just prefers playing on a console I still think none of the editions are worth it really. I believe it will be a highly watered down version of a brilliant game. I would really like to hear other peoples opinion on the matter of which features will be implemented in the console version oppose to the pc version
