This was a song my friend really liked, his name was DeMarco Bradford and he was one of the funniest, most compassionate, kind, and caring people I’d ever met in my entire life. On April 22nd of this year 2024, he was shot in the head and killed over something which he had no involvement in. Taken by someone he had done nothing wrong to. I wish I had talked with him more and spent more time hanging out with him because he was a really great and amazing guy. His passing affected people who barely even knew him or who didn’t know him at all but still heard of his situation. He was 16 and would’ve turned 17 years old on the 1st of May. It is a devastating shame that he was taken so early in his life. All he ever showed was love and warmth towards others. The person he was still inspires myself along with all those who hear his story. Thank you for this song, I believe it was one of his favorites at some point or another.
