Congrats man. Early game was so clean. Considering the death and some shortages late game, what do you think could be the lower end for default runs? Sub2h seems unrealistic but 2:20?
I think he's prioritising three things.. 1 space to build 2 proximity and size of veins 3 biter freedom.. I think its important.. if they too close you can waste a lot of time building defence
Extra boilers are cheep, and i can then handfeed more coal per steam engine. As soon as coal is automated, this is no longer needed and switch to the standard 1 to 2.
How are you inserting one item at a time like that? Every time I try with the drop item key, some items get dropped on the ground between the machines...

You have to start the item drop on the entity. If you start the drop on the ground it will allow field drops.
