Damn this song is so deep. Started out so peacefully and gradually went louder and louder until it went out of control just like the transformation from Walter White to Heisenberg... Amazing.

@@MrRandyMike While we usually think of monsters as villains, that's not always the case. Some monsters (like most anti-heroes) are that way because they know it takes one to hunt one. Others (like rathalos) are that way because that's how their species evolved and they just want to be left alone to hunt and breed in peace.
Start as a common man's song, ends in a whirlwind of darkness and confusion.

The saddest thing is that Walter is actually a chemical genius. There could have been much more that he could have done, but some bad decisions and his life got fucked up.
He did do something rather vague with a colleague of his that was somehow important. The friend became a millionaire but Walter White was cut out of the loop and had to become a teacher while his less skilled friend got rich of his (Walt's) invention. This is one of the things that fueled his bitterness.

Breaking Bad is about as close to perfect as I've ever seen television or film come. I can't think of any other series that went as long as it did, without ever having a single decline in quality. Walter White himself might be the most complex protagonist I've ever seen for television.
The song itself really captured what I feel made Walter such a frightening yet compelling character, in addition to the atmosphere of the show, no easy task considering the wide variety it had (another awesome thing about it). Good work.

Best TV show ever. Walking Dead and Game of Thrones ain't got nothing on the one and only Heisenberg.
I still think GoT > Breaking Bad > Walking Dead. Breaking Bad was amazing though.
***** Depends on what you prefer. For me, I like the way they develop Walter White as a character, they do it at a level that GoT and the Walking Dead haven't been able to accomplish.
Series like those have the personality of the characters already defined and they can't spend to much time developing one character because of the amount of other characters that appear on the show.
The transformation of the nerdy, awkward Walter White to the ruthless, cunning Heisenberg is a one of a kind thing that I hope I'll see in other shows.

This is honestly one of my favorite songs that Gavin has written. It mirrors the show very well, as they both are a gradual crescendo. I can tell that he took a lot of time to make the video, as well, because the clips all fit with the music perfectly. I wish that miracle of sound were more popular because he has SO much more talent than Pewdiepie and Jenna Marbles and any other famous youtuber.

Listening to this song is like watching all 5 seasons of show in 4 minutes.
It's a weird feeling how watching the video and listening to the song makes me want to cry a little. Also, it's breaking me into pieces that I can't remove my memories from my head and re-watch the show and enjoy it like the first time...

this is fantastic, it completely mirrors and emphasises the feeling of the show itself as well as incorparating the double entendre meanings in a lot of the things with the show such as your 'forever blue' meaning. Absolutely genious!

Hearing this and also your demo you posted earlier, all I can say is that this is simply amazing! Everything works so well together and really captures the essence of the show without a re-hash of Walter's life. The percussion and acoustics were fantastic.

This actually gets better and better the more i listen to it. Really amazing, you have a serious talent for capturing the essence and musical aesthetic of a TV show, this is almost exactly what i imagined the song to sound like. I love the little use of the guitar pitch bends too, great bit of quotation. Excellent!

I noticed that too! Feels kinda weird, because I don't know what would be the connecting feature of Planescape: Torment and Breaking Bad.

I haven't played Torment, either (have seen BB, though) but I have noticed that both are well renowned for good characterization.
Just rewatching Breaking Bad (again...) and I cannot get this song out of my head. You absolutely nailed it. If half the mainstream music out there was half as good as this, I just might start listening to the radio again.

You catch the essence of these series and games so well; it's genius. Breaking Bad, Assassin's Creed, and Bioshock Infinite are the ones I love the most, maybe because I used to watch and play them back then.
