- Early April Potholes Reservoir Bass Fishing Trip Report! For those of you heading that way this month! Hope this helps you prepare. Mid to late April should time out perfectly! FYI, YES I know my zipper broke, didn't care, I was trying to fish! No trouser trout sightings, so just ignore it 😂
was wondering if I could use my 50lb braid or if I need a leader. think you answered that question! I also loved seeing the cover in the dunes. gives me a better idea of wear to start in a couple weeks. thanks for the great video/info.

I had a customer show me a pic of this monster bass he caught. I asked wtf he got it from and he told me of this little tiny place in Whitmon* County. I couldn't believe the size of bass, easily 5lb's bass all day long. Hidden Gem.

I can't launch at mardon, I have to go to the state park launch.
The 'along the dock' trick works awesome! Way quicker drop off there. The actual launch is goofy shallow.

It's the Ranger Approved factory bracket. Came installed.
I love fishing for the fight I don’t understand why some fishermen try to land the catch right away ???
It's less stressful for the fish is the main reasoning for most. Also, in heavier cover, they're going to win that fight 95% of the time. Open water or really deep water, I'll play them longer, but typically it's come here, get your picture taken, go home 😄
