In this video, I went to Mexico to search for La Llorona at rivers and at La lloronas tomb. We talked to people about the ghost of la llorona and if she haunts them. We found people that heard her scream.

that fact that when you hear la llorona closer means she’s far away and when you hear her far away is actually closer, reminded me of the skinwalker too, it’s practically the same fact, when you hear it far away it’s actually closer and vice versa

I’m staying at my grandmas here in Mexico in SLP, and there are nights when it’s super quiet and all of a sudden you hear a woman yelling for her life. Usually our roosters go crazy right before the yelling.

When I went to Mexico to go visit my family, my tia said that one night when my baby cousin was a baby, she heard the cries of La llorona and it was far(which means she's close) they ran into a room and kept hearing it so she grabbed her gun and started shooting back and started praying.

Legit , I am from Mexico,but I was born in the US,and legit one night ,one of my neighbors thought his mom was outside at 3 am and saw her but his dog followed my neighbor so my neighbor said whatever that was it went to the woods(saying come here or something like that),and he got scared he couldn't find his mom so he ran to my other neighbor to tell her,and what is creepy is that her mom and dad were asleep in their room when my little neighbor went outside,and since I live surrounded by woods it was very creepy.

I'm Mexican and i do think La Llorona actually exists because my uncle told me a story that he saw La Llorona when he was a kid that sounded very real but im not sure really.
Also your Spanish pronunciation is really good and if you keep learning it you'll probably speak basic spanish in like 3-4 months

I was playing a game online with my cousin who lives in Mexico when all of a sudden the connection and call disconnects. This would happen sometimes, so i didn't think much of it. About 10 minutes passes and he connects back, but this time he sounded panicked and scared. He said his power went out and then he heard a women scream which sounded like La Llorona. I don't really believe in La Llorona, but he sounded genuinely scared and he also wasnt the type of person to pull a prank like that. So i dont know what to believe in anymore.
I honestly think that I hear her once, her scream is drilled on my memories and it was one of the scariest things ever happen to me

My father was driving in the highway in virginia one night he was alone, the highway was oddly empty he saw a woman completely dressed in white walking slowly, when he passed her he felt a chill down his spine and he didn't even look back but instead punched the gas pedal. Until this very day we dont know who this "person" is but we are pretty sure it was la llorona.

Idk if this is true or not but the origin of la llorona is that there was an Aztec warrior who was exiled and said he would come back in 100 years all white with giant beast to destroy their land. Time passed and there was a lady, who was called “la llorona”, who would yell that the Aztec warrior was coming back which in 100 years Hernan Cortes came with “giant beast” that were actually horses and destroyed the Aztec empire. But over time people changed the story into different things
That's not right la lorrona is a story of a lady who's kids died somehow either by drowning sometimes they said someone else killed her kids of she killed them but they died and that's why she cries for her kids mostly kids see her
I’ve never heard that version, the version i’ve heard is:
La llorona was a normal wife, mother of two kids. One day she came home to catch her husband having an affair and he left her. Out of overwhelming emotions she went to the river to drown her kids, she later regretted it and would cry everyday til her death. When she died and went to the gates of heaven, god denied her and punished her soul to stay on earth for eternity looking for her kids, until she finds her kids she can leave earth.
I myself have actually heard la lloronas cry, but never seen her

I got a story of my dad seeing the Llorona. So my dad was around 5-6 he lived close to the forest and since he had peoples comeing over he had to live in a bus. Part 2 so my dad was awake by a noise intop of the bus like footsteps he was about to go out of the bus to check and then he heard a screm then his little brother got scare and started to sob my dad said to him be quiet. Part 3 so after my dad said to his little brother be quiet he geard a screm and then he heard mi hijos thats what the Llorona says.

Outta be there at 11pm because she cried around midnight I believe. I heard her many years ago in Jalisco, everyone got quiet and was super afraid. Later on that night, I woke up to heavy rain but needed to use the restroom, I was only 10, went downstairs since the house stairs is out in the open, so rain falls down on the stairs, seen a woman that looked a lot like my grandma washing dishes, in the rain, I said wyd, she looked at me with blood shot eyes and said “nothing washing dish’s,” I said oh okay goodnight, next to the dish washer was the bathroom/shower, I drained my yellow Gatorade,so I started thinking “tf is she awake right now washing dish’s in the middle of the rain?” Remembering she had red eyes, I just prayed real quick before stepping out,I step outside I didn’t see her, still raining hard as heck, I seen blood on my way up the stairs, and to get to my room where I sleep,you gotta pass my grandmas room and she was sound asleep, not wet, no signs of the floor being wet, nothing. Woke up the next day I seen her, I said why were washing dish’s at 2:30-3am, she said what are you talking about? That wasn’t me.” Ever since then, that’s where I real deal think I had my first encounter with a demon/ghost/witch/spirit… all happened in Jalisco. Think the prayer and me ignoring everything that happened after the realization helped a lot.

About La Llorona, I've heard the scream like 4 or 5 times, it's a unique experience, when I hear it, I stay alert waiting to see/hear anything, sometimes I heard it twice, but most of the times I just sounds once. I have no idea what makes that sound, but it's a scream without words, not "Ay mis hijos" as people say, just a weird scream that even sounds different, like empty. Don´t know if it's a ghost, but it's creepy

I remember hearing her once i'm from Mexico and I'm from a more centric part of Mexico so not near leon lol,
I remember I was like 17 or 18 and it was very late at night like 2-3 am in the morning, I was sleeping and I suddenly woke up hearing dogs barking like crazy, I was home alone and confused of why the dogs around the street were barking and I swear to God I heard the scariest scream of my life, I remember hearing it literally outside my house, a woman crying/screaming at full lung capacity, my dogs were really scared and I lock my room, then after the scream I heard the typical "mis hijos" I couldn't sleep for the rest of the night, next day I talk to some neighbors and told me the fact that if you hear her nearby it means that she's far away and that they hear it too, me and my family investigated that if maybe someone was pranking or maybe something else but no news or something like that, just more neighbors telling that they hear the scream, to me la llorona is very real

man go to la Laguna Salada, it is actually not known for it being so lonely, but it is actually haunted, my family carry stories and some family's too, just don't get lost because nobody can get out alive sadly, if your willing to go, it is a risk. i see it. at first i thought it was an animal like a fennec fox or something as Mexico is a desert country with a lot of nocturnal animals, but then i noticed the size was a little too small to be anything nocturnal cuz nocturnal animals tend to have big eyes to collect light at dusk or something and use it when they're traveling in the dark night. they look really distant, so i could be wrong and it was an animal. only problem with the animal thing is the light wasnt quite close enough to reflect off the eyes the way it was which also brings back the possibility of it being a ghost or spirit

I first heard about this story back in highschool in my Spanish class.
A few things don't line up right here, 1st there's a paradox in what one of the locals said in the video. They said "When you hear her screams she's close and when she's close she's far" then there's the Grandson, but a local said the story was from when the Spainards came to Mexico, but they did that in 1519, so he couldn't be the grandson as he'd be dead by now since that was 500 years ago, he'd at least be the great grandson under perfect conditions and also he couldn't even be the grandson since she killed her children so her children couldn't have children.

When I actually went to Mexico to visit my grandparents, my grandparents told me a bunch of stories about the Liorona they took me to a forest when we got to a river we heard her say, my children, and I was only 10 years old. It sound really close so my grandparents, my cousins all started to run away to the car when I looked back at the river, a small mountain I saw a white pill woman staring at us, I looked at her eyes and now, when I go visit my grandparents in Mexico, I hear my children in Spanish really far and I think I’m haunted by the liorona fast to the future I woke up in the middle of the night at my grandparents house. My door started to open. I remember her coming through the door, her shadow through the window. I got so scared. I tried to stand up and get the bat next to my bed, but I couldn’t move. The only thing I get to move my head, eyes mouth. She came through the door and I still remember her walking up to my bed her white pill face red eyes, her mouth with no teeth, just pure darkness hand popped out out of her mouth and that’s when I got to move my body I reach for the bat but when I look back she was gone. I told my grandparents that incident that happened last night they believe me you are generations, each of my cousins uncles ants my parents experience that and I am happy to tell you my information
the last part you said about not being able to move, i had that exact same experience except it wasn’t her it was a girl who came from under my bed who was crawling like a spider and then screamed at the top of her lungs and left. then i could start moving again. i later found out it was something called sleep paralysis, which mainly comes from stress. idk a ton of the science behind it but it is a really wierd phenomenon that is surprisingly scientifically proven to be true. but i’m also not mexican and live in southern california so i don’t know much about la llrona. it could be sleep paralysis or something completely different but i dont completely know about your because im not you. just sharing a similar experience i had though.

Leon is 20 mins away from where I'm from, I think I have seen. She had an all white dress and was from a rancho where I was from. The pic that you showed was the rancho where I saw her l. We went to a river and we got the chills, it low-key the most scariest thing I've ever been through
Back in 1997 i heard la llorona in mexico i remember it like it was yesterday.. that creepy loud lament gave me chills down my spine... i remember the two dogs we had started barking like crazy and chasing something invisible inside the house and all around the property... ooh boy that was the scariest day of my life. i was 7 years old at that time so you can imagine yes i was crying...😂😂
