I could imagine this music track being fitting for a boss with multiple phases, if the music was somehow programmed to loop over certain sections until the phase is cleared, in which case, it then transitions into the next part of the music track. 0:00-0:17: Boss Intro 0:17-0:43: Phase 1 Loop 0:43-0:46: Transition to Phase 2 0:46-0:59: Phase 2 Loop 0:59-1:11: Transition to Phase 3 1:11-1:37: Phase 3 Loop 1:37-1:40: Transition to Phase 4 1:40-2:06: Phase 4 Loop 2:06-2:12: Transition to Phase 5 2:12-2:38: Phase 5 Loop 2:38-3:04: Phase 6 Loop (No Transition) 3:04-3:22: Transition to Final Phase 3:22-3:34: Final Phase Loop 3:34-3:42: Boss Defeated
Download Famitracker's latest version, there should be a folder called Demo songs. Open FDS_rushjet1_-_fdx on Famitracker, open File menu and there you 'll be able to create a nsf file or a wav file. Both can be easily converted to mp3 with foobar2000 (although you'd need to have foo_gep to play nsf's on foobar and that lame dll thing to convert to mp3).
Wow! I just realized that you're not using the expansion thingy (I dunno what that thing is called) and you manage to make it sound like that. That's insane
You would have to replace the crystal clock for starters. Then you would have to nitro cool most if not every chip, as the electricity would be intense on the chips. Then you would need to replace every capacitor to deal with the load of electricity, otherwise they explode. And last, you would need to cut holes to allow for air to pass in and out, also so you can fit the parts necessary for cooling. After all of that, then yes it will run
so is that 400 hertz legit? like could a nes game handle it? cuz i really would like to know. i've tried to look it up but google always leads me here and nowhere else.
In theory, it would work if you overclocked your NES from 60hz to 400hz. But in practice, such a high engine speed would make your NES overheat... I think, I'm not sure =S I'm not an expert at this subject.
raphaelgoulart so HE'S not even sure? ugh.... well i guess i don't really need it. i just would have liked it. did any megaman game ever use that effect?
He seemed pretty sure of it actually, it's just me, I am not sure tbh haha But as far as I know, I have never seen a NES game that had songs that weren't in 60 Hz (NTSC) or 50 Hz (PAL)

one of the sickest tunes ever
This song remains one of my favorite things I've ever had the fortune to listen to. This song is a whole journey.
Great work Rushjet! Found it in Famitracker's demo songs folder and almost instantly fell in love with it!
This is Tim and Geoff Follin like stuff, brother.
The arpeggios are similar to the ones in Geoff's Terminator 2.
MASTER PIECE.
Dude, holy shit.
SERIOUSLY, HOLY SHIT. WHAT THE ACTUAL FUCK IS THIS. My god.
Oh, man, that FM Synthesis. You've always had a way of coaxing the best sound out of the Famicom and it's sound chips that I've always liked.
This is actually not FM synthesis
the FDS is a wavetable player, much like part of the GB's chip
but its actually has a 3-bit Phase Modulator
thats why sick guitars is pulled off there. Basically blisteringly fast vibrato.
Ahh, dude. I love listening to this. Open FamiTracker and listen away!
for those who wanna listen to the bonus material in the FTM, scroll to 2E.
I can imagine an entire phase of a game with this song.
Ever hear about Master Boot Records? RushJet1 = MBR...both are legendary composers evenly.
This sounds like a high speed boss battle.
Holy..... I don't even..... This song is da BIT!
How long did you take on this masterpiece! I simply must know! o__0
The one dislike was probably seizing at the desktop
Oh wow, you're back.
Sounds good, I love your NES songs, RushJet! =)
great sound with the FDS :)
Still a great tune. :)
And with some slight modifications it's possible to export to NSF now
badass sir
Impressive.
Amazing
Wow! Awesome work! :o

He actually is using the FDS expansion chip.
***** I meant those arrow thingy at the top. [Pulse 1 ►][Pulse 2 ►]
HolyDemon017 OH you mean that I'm only using one FX column? Yeah I tend to do that in most of my music :)
***** That's what pros do!
400hz omg
3:50 Loquendo Material :v
What genre could this be called?
more videos =D..so fuckin great
aw yea
You mind if I use this in a series of mine called preMARCE?
is there a download for this? on "8bitpeoples"?
Why does this sound like something you'd find on an oscilloscope music video
bruh
@@reyhanpanci bruh indeed. Why did I leave this comment
How did you make the volume, arpeggio, duty speed very fast?
This .ftm runs at 400hz - you can change the engine speed at the top of Famitracker (tracker -> engine speed -> custom)
***** Oh thanks! It works!
Programing error theme
Subscribed, man. So you're saying that this would work on an NES despite the fact that it's 400 Hz? How? Doesn't the NES only do 50 or 60 Hz?
That's for display.

Most of the time the music in NES games updates every VBlank (50hz or 60hz depending on region), but NES can update the music faster than that.
lol just realised i'm replying to an old comment

raphaelgoulart oh so it could overheat. thats why they didn't do that.
Yeah, but I'm not sure. RushJet1 himself said somewhere that the NES didn't have to be overclocked to play this, but he didn't get in details.
raphaelgoulart so HE'S not even sure? ugh.... well i guess i don't really need it. i just would have liked it. did any megaman game ever use that effect?

Hey, mind giving me a link to the FTM of this? Thanks.
The FTM usually comes with FamiTracker by default.
How do you come up with shit like this
