My first year of high school marching band we did Harlem Nocturne. At least my director picked good music from corps like The Crossmen. Most other bands weren't doing jazz at the time we were.
Always loved this show, especially the closer. I did always think that the very end of the show was pretty abrupt though. They had some real screamers that year.

Yes to the closer, felt like a cool twist to the way other groups had done that tune but very tasty!
