    good design !. We also participate in a similar competition from Oklahoma, only that the robots are smaller but equally remotely controlled

    Why you guys are using rotating brush for collecting soil sample? In the video I can see that you have tested it on Sandy soil but the terrain will be a lot different at MDRS. Other things were good and rover is awesome too. Good luck.

      While true that the example in the video is far from reality on mdrs, we believe the stiffness of the brush and the module pressing it down will be enough to collect samples during the tasks. Good luck to you too!

    how does the body/platform stay horizontal? it looks like it balances on the pivot point

      It is done using a differential bar situated inside the body. Google it, the first result describes this solution pretty nicely.
