Please make more beginner tips, quest, what to do, daily routines, must have items, etc.., as a new player im so overwhelm by this game theres a ton to do and dont know what are the priorities first, and also, tips how not to burnout on this game i feel like the more i sit for hours on this game the more i feel burn out. dont treat it like a job, just chill out and play the game for fun, learn as u go, its more of a mindset thing, why are u in such a rush to the end anyways? the journey is the fun part

@@ryaven you'll have to turn that part of your brain off. you'll never "finish" this game, ever. all you will do is slowly (SLOWLY) increase your status in the game through various activities. even if you play 16 hours a day until the end of time you'll never get the best gear in every slot for combat+crafting. if you dump a few hundy thousand USD into the game sure, but not just by playing. so, that said, just sit back and chill, if you're making 10m an hour doing some afk activity be happy. if you love to grind you can speed up your progression a good bit but you will definitely suffer burnout from that. i can barely handle doing 1 hr a day in marni's realm before i want to gouge my eyes out, but sometimes i enjoy it.
Some newbie traps here: 1) Farming - if you can buy things that you need from the market, you should do it. Farming is not worth the time and set up investment whatsoever. 2) Fishing - waste of time, don't do it. Just because you can do it afk doesn't mean you should. Amount of silver you get compared to entry level grinding or lifeskilling is ABYSMAL. It's summer, turn off your pc and go to sleep. 3) Lifeskilling - hunting is at the moment the most profitable lifeskilling (sniper - 1b/h starting at 1.2k mastery), it tops grinding in a lot of cases. Gathering is okay, cooking has a very high level of entry due to people hitting high mastery, recent cook time reduction events. Market is flooded. 4) Workers and nodes is dead content. It's nice that some people do it but if you hope to profit - don't waste your time on it. Processing is terrible silver / h. If you do insist on nodes just dump it on the market as raw material. Lastly, use bdolytics. It will help you immensely checking whether something is profitable or not.

You should claim your daily/weekly boss scrolls (or scroll pieces) from the Black Spirit. Simply press ",", go to the Quest tab (or press "a"), choose "Recurring," and then pick scrolls. What do the scrolls do? You can summon the boss of that scroll (orange one), or you can pick a piece of the scroll (then you combine 5 or 4 of those pieces, depending on the boss) and summon a stronger boss. In this case, stronger means better loot. Scrolls do not have an expiration, so you can stack them. If you need help with those, just ask in the chat, and people will likely help you (they also get small loot after defeating the boss).
These new player guides are very helpful. Please also show how to access certain things in the UI. It's incredible crowded in BDO, hard to Navigate! Like for example in Video you said "do the Jetina Quest"
My advice to new players when it comes to cooking is start by picking the meal you want to make at guru. You can't make guru boxes until your guru level but you can start making the individual dishes that make uo the meal almost immediately. Take the blue proc dishes and start making your low level cooking boxes with those and save your normal dishes for when you hit guru. Doing this you should have enough saved up to start turning in guru boxes day 1 of hitting guru
@@Darkdray123 all have their bottlenecks milk, lion meat, and so on. Personally I find Serendia meals the easiest. It's milk heavy but I have a army of Shai's parked at the cows. When that's not enough I'll convert my 10 farms over to cows as well for a day or two.
Embrace the freedom that comes with the nature of sandbox mmos but remember, you should'nt feel an obligation to do any of these stuff if it feels like a job. It's completely fine to only do a thing or two (example: grinding and world boss). There's no point of rushing things since progressing takes a long way either way.

Every day I do the forest path quests in grana. It's 2 simple quests that an alt with no weapons can do. Takes 5 minutes and 28 days to make 1, but only way to get those items is to do the quest.
@@nicolasbram165 I don't think it's that much. But what you do is place an order and go about your dailies. Eventually you'll have enough of both. It's time gated, so don't worry about rushing to profitability through grinding the mats. You gain the ability to use a forest path, which took my wife almost 2 years of waiting for her 1 pre-order to be filled.
@@Exile8oh8 if u dont do the honor trading which give 2k powder u do need 2.8k ish of ea trace.. since u need 100 ea trace to make 150 powder and u need 4k powder to make the wagon.. oh if it for using it urself then yeah its good but for profit not really.. but then agian i got mine from the double elemnt event xD
All you have to do is go to your display settings and make sure to switch from full screen to game window. This will allow you to minimize your screen. Once your screen is minimized your cpu will use less power so you can afk fish. What I do is minimize and lock my computer. Do not put your cpu in sleep mode it will log your character out.
U need to finish all quests at crows nest u start it in your black spirit and it costs 300mil to finish the last quest so u are aware. Its also a requierment to do those quests for one log later for +1 dps so not bad to do.

it's sad that lifeskills are pretty much dead in this game. i mean you can do them and make gains over time, but you're MUCH better off spending that time grinding. you can make 500m-1b an hour with gear you can get in 1 day as a brand new player from season server. lifeskills are just a complete joke and i feel like i'm wasting my time every time i start to gather a tree. pa is god awful about balancing anything in this game from making the various grind spots relevant to class grind speed to lifeskills everything is WAY out of whack. they are just complete trash at balance.
Its insane how much time you can waste on this game lol I feel Pearl abyss should pay me to play it :D Guess being a youtuber/twitch streamer is the best thing when playing BDO to not feel like you are wasting your life away :D

Unless you play at least 3 to 5 hours or more per day. You can't do all those activities. you have to pick and choose what you want to do.
These new player guides are very helpful. Please also show how to access certain things in the UI. It's incredible crowded in BDO, hard to Navigate! Like for example in Video you said "do the Jetina Quest"

Protip: Don't log off afk fish and minimize to taskbar. Make sure you have beer for your workers.
At artisan fishing I still make 20 mill over 10 ish hours while I’m at work. Totally worth doing if your pc is on anyway like mine is.

if i log out while fishing does my char keep fishing?

Your char does not keep fishing. In the ESC menu, where you would usually choose to disconnect, simply minimise to tray instead.

Imperial delivery does not seem worth it. I'd rather grind centaurs lol. 100mil-200mil a day is like 10 minutes at centaurs.
