Still the best thing Des Bishop has ever done imo, I like the mix of Comedy and Drama. In some episodes it's downright depressing. If anyone worked in those kind of jobs he worked in you know how tough it is. This episode and Swimming fun park place (the losing the 2 euro for his can of coke was funny as hell) were the best episodes . The Hotel one was just really depressing. Supermarket one, was probably the easiest job he had and one he was more laid back in. Still have this on DVD, none of his other shows came close to matching this.
@@seanshatters I know, and I know guineys is usually very cheap too, but I stand by my original point that he probably could have got them even cheaper in Penney's
Probably the best documentary about Ireland ever made
Saw this when it came out 20yrs ago, hilarious 🤣🤣🤣

I really enjoyed his documentary series when he went to China.
I believe it was 2013.
So old fashioned even back then. He got on so well with the Chinese. Love Waterford
He is such a smart guy not to mention hilarious! I have huge respect for him!

Surely he could've saved a few quid by going to penny's?if pants there cost about a tenner now they probably would've cost about six quid then
he went to guineys ,he actually passed penneys to go to guineys, so likely tried there first
