Grosse résistance se Adam Ondra ! Great
Pavoučí muž,má můj rerspekt.
Jedziesz Adamie, jedziesz!
Its „jedeš” in Czech it means you are going. They were also saying „si silnej” that means you are strong.
I have a question which I am wondering about in a lot of your videos: who climbs up there first and leaves all the quickdraws in the wall for you? Is this done by toprope?
Someone (most likely Adam himself) probably rappels down and pre-places the quick-draws!
There are two options: Draws can be placed permanently. This is quite common for harder extremely overhanging routes which makes it difficult to clear the route after climb. Or, Adam would place the draws during his tries and then he'd clear them after successful accent.
@@tomtruhelka In the area they're at they're definitely not there permanently, I go to the area a lot. Adam most likely placed them there himself when he works the route or someone else can climb it with a beta stick or on an adjacent easier route. There is no access to the top from above on any of the routes in that sector.
@@tomtruhelka I went quite recently to this crag and there are 3 routes that have the quickdraws left on the wall there by petzl on a past roctrip, including this one. Though I think it was after Adam sent it, but not sure.
Sometimes you have access from the top and can set your way downwards

Can anyone explain to me why a lot of sport routes finish half way up the crag and don't go to the top?
Most sport routes will be limited by the length of rope. Common rope lengths, at least in the US, are 60 or 70 meter. Cut that length in half to allow for lowering, at you're maxed out at a 35 meter high route. Any higher and it's now a multi pitch route.
dedlewamp cheers for the reply.
Same in Germany. 60/70/80m are the standards.
Also, often there are bird nests on top of the walls and one should not disturb their breeding.
The rope length is the factor, but sometime there is also a little benefit to make a route longer as difficulty decreases further up.
I can do that
xdfgdgdfgdfgdf good for you :)
xDDDD
This is not a 9a+ climb
Footballogist go ahead and down-(or up?)-rate it! 😊
typical for footbalers.. they know everything...

Try it, we'd like to know hahaha
@@MrSK8ORDIE69 OK take it easy ladies. No need to get your panties in a twist. Ever heard of sarcasm? Ondra is a beast. He makes this look much easier than 9a+
