I might be projecting but i see a lot of myself in byul in terms of not being able to express my feelings in a healthy way especially when it comes to a crush which usually results to me redirecting my affection for them onto my platonic bff whenever they’re around (gay panic) this comes from countless years of being buried in the closet.. up until recently whenever I had a crush and I sensed that she might like me too, i go into full panic mode and behave like a 5th grader who treats his crush like shit bc he likes her which ofc ultimately results in her leaving bc I won’t admit my true feelings that’s why these days I try my hardest to be upfront and mature about my intentions bc i don’t wanna miss my chance at true love
