    that is pretty damn cool. i can only guess that you had to code the color change for when the circle was within a range.

      No, I am a lot, but not a coder :D This was pretty simple to do honestly :) The rings are in a cloner and with a Planar Effector and a linear field, I created a color change. Just black to white. And this color change I used in a Mograph Shader to drive the power of emission ;) The sound I did in post work.
