Thanks Kerry, this is exactly what I needed to make my CZcams Intro. I was struggling big time as I'm new to Davinci Resolve. I was firstly making my travelling car go along a polyline, as a brush image, but once I changed to using your merge and angle method it finally made sense and my little house car moved along the rolling hills. Thanks again for your well explained tutorial. Tamara.

Why not just use a transform node, right click on angle and connect to path/heading? The jeep will follow the line AND angle itself depending on what the line is doing. This way is waaaaaay tooooo looooong.

This is great. Could you include links to the images you used for us to play along?

Great. I try to create settings and send to a friend. But Davinci
doesn't see nested images (like here photoshop file- png ) How to do it? It
depends on the location of the file? How to make Davinci understood that
need to refer to this file? Can you make a tutorial of it?

I thought, it will be automatic process as in AE with vector path. But thank you for this video!

I see one big problem: doing it this way, there seems no way to ensure that the jeep travels at a constant speed. It's movement is a little jerky. Is there also a mode where you can draw in the path it needs to travel without worrying about advancing your keyframe with each new point? I guess the most logical way would be that it will then perform that movement over the time set by your left / right loop brackets.

There are other ways to do it, like drawing a path, I will be doing a video on that soon

And while you're at it, make the Jeep zoom up the hill AND DO THE WHEELIE. C'mon, PLEASE!

@@dchall8 But.....my Jeep can't actually do a wheelie....or if it does, I am probably crapping in my shorts
