    All these comments about lifters are funny. None of these kids have ever had a solid lifter chevy straight 6. Better to hear 'em than burn 'em. Sounds good.

    My 1950 Chevy deluxe starts smoking white after i drive it sits for 10 minutes but if I’m diving it it’s good only after it is parked for a whileit starts smoking white can it be running rich and getting to much fuel in the combustion chambers hope it’s not the head gasket it only smokes out the drivers side tail pipe

    Is that a Chevy straight 6? I have the exact same thing (78,250) and need to adjust my carb. Damn those intake exhaust manifold hybrids!!!! Good video

      I want to say Rochester's B 1 barrel they look like the ones i have i thought you couldn't run duo carbs with that type of Rochester's

      Yep, I have to adjust them again, I just keep putting it off. Solid lifters can really get noisy sometimes :)

      after you get the lifters adjusted.. one pint of Marvel Mystery Oil to one tank full of gas will guite them down even more..

      They all sound like that. Mechanical lifters are noisy by nature….
