Remember: a huge tanks with small fish looks way better than a small tank with big fish. Pygmy rainbows in 55g looks awesome (group size>25)
Great tip video!
You have convinced me to try rainbow fish. I picked up a 3 dwarf neon rainbows (all they had) and am going back to my LFS to flush out my school with 6 more. BTW, I would love to see a series on commonly found plant profiles and care tips.

Good stuff once again 👌
Thanks for the great info. I have been thinking about getting into rainbow fish and now I know what my choices are with regards to the tanks I currently own.
Another awesome video! Only kept Praycox Rainbows, but they didn't last long for me. I think I might get them and try a little harder to keep them happy.
Nice timing posting this video. I'm sure you just saved Dansfish fish alot of emails.
Neil Armstrong: legendary astronaut, part time fish photographer.
Great video. Mix of information, entertainment and passion. Surprized Glossolepis dorityi didn't get a mention but totally agree on the wanamensis. Should be getting some M. australis in a couple of months. Just got to figure out where I'm going to put a 7ft tank without anyone noticing 😉
I love blue as well❤
Bentley, I can listen to you talk about rainbow fish all day. Your passion for these fish is amazing and contagious.
Love the info..... thanks so much. The break down of tank size was very helpful!
Very interested in eventually going rainbow. This was helpful.
Absolutely great information that is not out there to be found. Thank you!
Thank you for sharing your expertise!
After recently discovering your channel Bentley, its reinvigorated my passion for Rainbows. I just got back into fish keeping over the last year or so after a 8 year hiatus. Coming from Melbourne Australia, seeing your photos from Neil Armstrong reminded me of the ANGFA meetings I use to attend. Both Neil and Barry Crockford were great influences for me. The discussion and mentoring from these gentleman was truly amazing. For us aussies they are apart of rainbowfish history now. They are sadly miss! You guys in the States are so fortunate with the varieties you are able to obtain. Seems ironic that here in Australia we seem to be limited as to what can be obtained comercially.
Love that you showed us that beautiful rainbow fish for brackish water!!! Wish someone would do a lot of brackish fish tanks. Very under rated fish in my opinion.
great info thanks Bentley always spot on info from a nice guy
A few of my favorite rainbowfish I have had are the Goyder River with the dark stripe that really sets them apart and my favorite of all time is the Parkinsoni Rainbow. So fun to let them grow out and watch the color pop.
