Hello, The meat is delicious, some people do not like it because sometime its taste is a bit strong. We have no wolves in this area. In other parts of my country there are wolves but not in large quantity. The most dangerous disease for these animals is the sarcoptic mange (hope is correct) that can destroy entire populations and reduce the number of animals to only 5% of the original number. Hunting is allowed, but usually is not enough. Thanks
Three questions: 1) How good to eat are these organic mutton ? 2) Are weather, disease and forage the herd limiters or are there wolves or other predators in this area ? 3) Is hunting one of the tools used to manage the herds ?
