- Valuation guru Aswath Damodaran joins Neha Bothra on Forbes India Pathbreakers for an insightful masterclass on valuing companies in an age of rapid disruption and uncertainty. The dean of valuation debunks how 'price' is different from 'value' and why the craft of valuation is about blending numbers with storytelling. We look at factors driving the valuation of some new-age tech companies, the impact of artificial intelligence on business models, and if India can become a global economic powerhouse, and a lot more. Nice interview. The presenter did great. Well done. The Dean at his eloquent best as always ❤
Well done Neha, well done.
The qns, delivery everything perfect. When interviewing big deals like Prof. Damodharan this is what we expect. Looking forward to seeing more of you on TV.
My Guru.. Learned a lot and learning everytime when I listen you. Thank you sir
Thanks Educator Prof. Damodar Ji.
Thanks Forbes.
Excellent interview - well prepared questions. One can keep listening to Master Damodaran - he is a legend in valuations.
Aswath is a legend, no doubt.. Nobody in his league. But what surprised me was how good Neha is! Keeps quite and allows the conversation to play out.She is possibly one of the best well spoken anchor in media in India today. Will follow her more. Well done Neha 👍
Brilliant interview Questions we’re well thought out His answers are valuable lessons
Very nice and great discussion!
I love to hear from him speaking about the valuation of the dollar which is artificially popped up.
The bottom line is that he is an American and he speaks what the US wants to hear.
He never gonna say about hyperinflation and fed's ridiculous monetary policy to keep printing dollars. He never even said how dedollarisation gonna hurt a lot to IT industries. It's not like he's being American. Because Peter Schiff, Ray Dalio, Robert Kiyosaki etc aren't Afghani. These gentlemen already exposed American bubble economy. The reason he is the extreme leftist and Marxist as most of the professors in US are. I got him the day he criticized Adani and indirectly Indian government. 😅
@@roxymax8917 Partially agree. There are a lot people who think beyond borders concerned about global well being in this increasingly integrated world. But he is not one.
Forbes is good, standard.
13:04 - Zomato (thank me, now)
He will not accept that he made a lazy analysis on Zomato.
Great interview and insight. Thanks to anchor and the guest

Zomato website with their "special ratings" formulae is, give a lower review than makes basic mathematical sense and then call the business to ask if they want their rating higher by, yes you guessed it, paying them money.
Happened to me years ago when I owned a restaurant.
