Just so you know I now have to do my dishes today Friday so I understand I just put water in to soak so they won't be too hard to get cleaned. My mom has a greenhouse and she placed the big dishes in her sink in there and did those later so we all have our different ways to deal with dishes after a long days work with a huge celebration after! I appreciate you're channel and all you're thoughts I am a stay at home mom too of three kids from 12 to 6 and a young girl who is 9 so I am busy too and you are so encouraging thank you so much!

Instead of a steamer for your table cloth you can just put it on the table, spray it with water and smooth it out with your hands, then give it a bit of time to dry. Works great!

🥰 That Costco soap is wonderful. My mother-in-law had it last year and I could not get it.
🥧 We only had our family of five for thanksgiving this year, so I just made two pies. I made a new one to go with the pumpkin pie. Chocolate chip cookie pie. Oh my gosh! It was so good. I used a recipe by Lydia April here on CZcams. I used mini chips and reduced them to 1/2 cup. It looks like an old Nestle recipe but with softened instead of melted butter.

    Great time, great food!
I make a casserole or 2 with the leftovers. Layer each item, except rolls, cranberry and I've never put sweet potatoes. And I usually always have mashed potatoes too. Sometimes I have to loosen the gravy with a little water or broth if the turkey juice wasn't very flavorful for the gravy. You can eat this in a few days and no one gets tired of leftovers, it's so easy.

If you want to "pretty" you to crust, you can have a "centerpiece" on it using a cookie cutter. Roll it out on a cutting board or flat service, take a cookie cutter (I used a turkey for Thanksgiving and a tree for Christmas) and place on the center slight left. After cutting out the center, place the cut out part slightly to the right about 1/2 to 3/4 inches. It makes a beautiful centerpiece.

I buy those toy insert storage containers ( rectangular shape from ikea) they have various sizes and because they are designed to insert, the edges make them easier to carry. I have 3-4, for when I have guests, one to collect glasses, one for dinner plates , smaller plates and cutlery- thus, already organized to rinse and put in dishwasher. I use one daily for clearing table after family meals. The containers also keep all the pot in one place and doesn’t mess up countertop area.
