AIKODE is an open world action RPG of the hack and slash genre developed by ACE. ACE took inspiration from several titles made by Yoko Taro like NieR, NieR Automata and Drakengard 3. He also mentioned that for his game he would like to have a grappling hook similar to Sekiro's, a glider reminiscent of Gravity Rush's pseudo-flight, game-ified characterization a la Persona, and meaningful side quests like the ones prepared by CD Projekt Red.

In Somnium, a world doomed to an endless cycle of death, Aiko, a Kyao created by "The Order", comes across a puppet that will lead her to the worst of futures - her own past.
Featuring colossal bosses and intricate combat mechanics, players can explore a vast world filled with diverse cities, ranging from a cyberpunk metropolis to steampunk-themed towns and even a faithful replica of Tokyo. Get ready to traverse this expansive world on foot, on a motorcycle, or even take to the skies with your own wings. With hundreds of NPCs whose behaviors vary every day, an extensive relationship system, and different timelines, AIKODE offers a fully-realized world where players can customize characters' clothing and hairstyle, play arcade games, decorate your home, cook, fish, and engage in a myriad of activities.
Everything is possible in AIKODE... except finding the truth.

Bruhhhh I literally thought I heard Crumbling Lies from Automata at the beginning and then it transitioned to a place that looked like Copied City, Nier fans will have a very nice treat when this launches

This is like borderline plagiarism lol. Even the song. The thing that confuses me is that there's clearly such a huge amount of talent on display here, so why waste it on a ripoff? A fully original work would have been extremely impressive but, as it is, it's mostly being discussed for looking like an asset-flip fangame. Could have been avoided.
I'm sure there's a lot more imagination behind the project than that.

Yeah, the story will be unique, i can assure you that, this is not a complete rip-off, but when it comes to visuals, sorry, im not a genius… you guys need to understand something, this is a solo developed game.
Look at the rest of the songs and trailers, and you will notice a lot of others inspirations. Sure, its still a mix of a lot of games, but again, I couldn’t avoid that.
Anyway, why cry about it when even the creators im “copying” are not ofended at all and some follow the game? (Like yoko taro)
