I enjoy when guys talk about players who were monsters in high school or college and don’t do what a lot of fans and some players do where they diminish them based on their NBA careers. I remember going to the city of palms tournament every year and seeing top high school teams and guys who were highly ranked players in the country and just being amazed how they just had talent making them literally men among boys.

Your a scorer but have several big games where you took less than 15 shots and made like 38-40% of the ones you did take. THATS TERRIBLE! One thing you can say about the great scorers ( mike, Kobe, bron, curry, Durant, iverson, tmac etc ) bad shooting night or not you never felt like they quit in the big games.

I’ve always said the same thing about Iverson but his teammate who was there finally vouched for it. Iverson to me was the most gifted athlete I’ve ever seen. He did not have to do that whole 1,000 shots a day shit. He just showed up and balled lol

Hoopers in the 90s and 2000s know . Was too nervous to even try out for them or the gauchos . I settled for the NYC jaguars . We just traveled to Vegas and Florida for nationals but was local in the tristate for the most part until we got Joakim Noah and some and 1 sponsorship lol
