no way, I was just looking for a tutorial exactly like this. Thanks a thousand times, Eric!
This video came out just in time as I was trying to refresh my interior photography. Awesome video!
You are very talented! I’ve watched hundreds of these and this one is the best yet!
All the straight lines man 🙌🏼
You didn't use the HDR photo. That photo you use, After merging was the over expose one I know this because I shoot real estate very often. The third photo in the four set of photo is the HDR photo. Just taught I should put that our there. Dope work though. Keep it up . !
didn't believe you and had to check for myself, but you're actually right, haha. Great catch. Wonder if Eric responds 😂...
Noticed that as well because he selected the middle image when he merged so the HDR was on the right of it, not at the end of the sequence.
dangit 😑
I thought I was the only one who noticed.
haha, classic. Thanks for the cascade, btw
nice interior design makes the photos look good
Great video and tutorial, also amazing home! Quick tip - Hold the shift key when using clone stamp, healing or brush to get a straight line. Works in both Lightroom and Photoshop :)
I was here before 1 million subscribers.
Loving your content Eric!
Just came across this video as I am struggling figuring out how to balance the light in my interiors. So helpful to see you walk through the bracketing process. I never really know how it worked. Question...for the handheld shots...how high are you willing to go with your ISO? I've always heard that the image quality suffers but I see that you went as high as 2500 on one of these. Also, what do you use to guide your aperture choices? You are a great teacher. I wish you had a whole series on interiors, but I see that is not your main gig :) Thanks again.
bro you have some of the best photography content on the tube no doubt, keep it up my guy
I love how dramatic you are it’s so fun to watch
Ooooohhhhhh, this was SO helpful! Straight to the point. Thank you!
Very helpful! About to go do my first interior shoot at a fancy restaurant, and this video really helped calming my nerves. Thanks!
I’ve been bored of photography videos on CZcams for awhile. This video was amazing man. I learned a lot, like how I want to design my home someday haha. These looked awesome.
Nice to see more people leaving the lights off. It’s the way I’ve always shot my interiors and never understand the ‘all lights on’ way of doing things. I believe this is a much more high end/editorial look.
Really useful! Thanks so much for sharing 😊
Super helpful video!!!
love your style. unforced, not trying too hard, fresh and new! instant sub!
"And not a blender" 😭😭😂😂😂👌🏼 that alone earns a like.
Man, you rocked this video. A ton of useful info. Great video.
Watch your barrel distortion...Nice shots.
As someone else mentioned the photo you ended up editing wasn't the HDR photo and I'm not pointing that out to be a jerk (lord knows we all goof from time to time!) I mention it because I would LOVE to see this when you are working on the actual HDR photo. I shoot real estate for a living and I'm always curious to see how others go about their editing!
Wauw... love that you go in details with LR. Thanks 🙌
I love your energy and your style!!!
I enjoyed this video. The tips on your shoot and especially in Lightoom are very helpful. Thanks!
Glad I’ve found someone who is just as much a perfectionist as me😅🤣
Wow Thank you. I'm an interior designer and I really feel like I struggle with my interior photos. I think this is helpful for me
Amazing video. So well shot and super helpful. Thank you!
Informative, concise well put together. Thanks to you guys, very helpful.
This is amazing and SO helpful!! Thank you for being so thorough!! :)
That kitchen is DOPE! I need it for my line of work lol. Photos turned out great 🔥
Dope editing section. 👌👌👌
This video was SUPER DUPER Eric!
Gideon Sanchez I see what you did. 👊🏼
1. Great tips
2. awesome hip dancing skills, on par with Shakira :)
Dude, you were great in the Mango Street short! Holy crap, that was fun!!
Eric! Thank you so much for the tips. I'm gonna keep those in my mind when shooting interiors! Big support
Love your shooting interior videos! Would like to see more as I'm just starting out on my interior journey and need as much help as possible!
Support team here,
big up man. i think i'm going to steal some of your idea for my bedroom/studio/playroom.
That palette is awesome.
This was great! Thanks! Your place is looking great!
Really comprehensive, great style, thank you very much ☺️
This was so helpful ~ thank you! Love how your thought processes when editing are so similar to mine ☺️
I love that Hat
It's so frustrating to see such AMAZING content with such little views. You'll blow up soon I promise just keep grinding 🙏
Killer video Eric! Awesome tips & love the minimal editing. Makes post production work much less daunting. Also - you live in a beautiful place! Nice work on the renovations.
I’m gonna watch this over and over!!!!! Just subscribe fr. Jamaica 🇯🇲
très haut niveau de qualité visuelle dans cette vidéo
Cool video, like the style and it is nice to watch.
Just a small tip from me, when you use clone tool, use the 'feather' slider, and that will smoothen the edges, it will blend it in nicely. Have a go! I am sure you will love it ;)
Nice video, and great place! Interesting to hear you prefer to shoot low down though. That's not super common for Design or real estate interiors where it's more important to get a look onto the kitchen surfaces rather than see under the upper cabinets. But for living rooms and cosy spaces i like to get to seating height. FLW said that architecture is meant to be viewed from a seated position so that's good enough a reason for me!
im so glad I found your videos, great stuff as always!!
Such a great informative video. Thank you!!
20 min video that felt like 5 mins cause it was soooo interesting, informative and well done. Not to mention, filled with interior design porn. Gorgeous work.
Great tips and awesome tactical advice! Thanks for sharing!
Man this is unreal advise, thank you so much for the vid.
Nice tips, thanks! Keep them coming 📷
Wonderful job guys thanks.
Keep more of these coming out man 💪💪
Great video. Loved it. Thanks for sharing!
These are really helpful, will probably help me reduce the need for me to outsource. But anyway, outsourcing helps me avoid boring repetitive editing. edithere if someone needs it, not that I want to advertise but their service is really great.
I can do some nice job, when I've got fully furnished stylish house.
But it's different when is empty and old.
vit p be creative you’d be surprised what you can do with an old empty room 😄
I most like natural light in tiny kitchen.
Thank you for your tips Eric! Please come in Italy to make a workshop LoL!
This is a great video! So in depth, please can you do more tutorials like these?
Great content ! Very helpful
Subbed! Blake from the Philippines 🇵🇭
Great stuff
JUST getting into this - offered a *really solid start. thanks!
Thanks for spending so much time in LR. So many of this tutorials jump right over to PS. I’m a beginner - so I can only learn on thing at a time. You’ve got a new follower.
BTW - who’s presets do you like for real estate?
Thanks
Hi! I would like to know the link where I can find your tripod. I really liked it!
Great video! Would love to see your wedding editing process.
How far apart are your brackets? 3 stops? 5 stops? Thanks :)
Totally depends on how deep your shadows and how bright the highlights are. I would meter according to exposing the shadows and highlights as close to accurate as possible on the low & high exposures 👍🏼
Eric Floberg thank you so much for responding! Helps a lot!
thanks so much for this tutorial. helped me a lot
Shoot slightly higher then table surfaces, but low enough that you don’t get under the kitchen cabinets.
I'm an architect and this is so helpful. Love from India
Great tutorial. Is there a link to the tripod you used for these photos?
Great tutorial, especially post! Thanks :)
Thank you, very useful tips !
Thanks for the tutorial. Awesome interiors! Can I ask please which Cascade preset you used? 01 or 02?
What lenses would you recommend for interior photography?
Thanks for the great tips. I noticed that you do a lot of your shots in portrait mode? I'm always shooting landscape mode.
pretty sweet looking home
Great tips!! Thanks 😍
Hey Eric, love the channel! I have also been following you instagram for a while and you've got amazing stuff! Congrats! I know this is a bit off topic but I was wondering if you could share with us your camera settings when shooting weddings, specially your AF settings. I'm a wedding photographer too and I've struggled with this part particularly, sometimes nailing the focus on the shot is really hard and I dont know wether to shoot on one shot focus, AI servo or what mode. Keep the great content coming man! Cheers form Mexico
Dude, this was turbo helpful... Cheers!
6:52 i think the HDR one it's the third pic, not the forth.....
This is how it gets weird when you meet youtubers who have seen your home, office and heard you talk about yourself a ton... :D
a very pleasant watch
Would love to see a video going more in depth on some of the Presets you use (particularly for wedding) as you have mentioned VSCOfilm before, although they have recently stopped selling their LR Presets.
Hi Eric!
Great video.
When applying multiple graduated filters, does it matter which order you apply them in? Will they behave differently if you apply them in the reverse order you did?
Thanks!
Such a good video man! Do you ever have to use artificial lighting for interiors or do HDR's always do the job?
4:11 That giggle
AWESOME! Thank you
great job! Just one question, do you use a 24 mm lens? or is a 24 - 70, or 24 - 105?
Thank you
Instant credibility because you're a Cubs fan!
I disagree with the low angle. It looks like a kid took it and it's noticeable since no one is used to seeing a kitchen, for example, at counter height. Shoulder/upper chest height is better as it is closer to eye level and typically around 5'. That is also the height you would typically draw a perspective from going back to my architect days. I agree with all your other points.
Ok, so I just found your channel today 30 Oct 2020, loved this video, just 2 things from a design perspective, on pic #2, crop out the entire edge of dresser on the right hand side. There isn’t enough weight in that dresser to make the pic feel balanced, also you really don’t want an extraneous object that close to the edge as it becomes distracting. Tip #2: on last pic, clone out the white elliptical object on the left hand side, again, it is not necessary to the story telling of the picture & it is distracting as well. I am gonna softly whisper I subscribed & love your style, thanks!
The dresser is there so people can see there is a dresser there. This is real estate, you need to show a space being lived in
Flooooobergggggg
You da man!
I love that you guys don't use a ton of flash and other unnatural light. Looks more real to me.
if it does not look real, then the light adding is done poorly. He had good pictures though, cant say they were the toughest examples, as he avoided high contrast scenes and the interiours were mostly monochrome, wait till you get to situations when you find the best composition in a place with problematic (problematic for the camera) light and unpleasant color casts and strap in for some fun times editing that out.
Thank you very much, pal!
You're doing close-ups, and that's why you more possible to control lighting.
Try to do a very wide images
