I ordered the Bowflex Power Rod system, slightly different than yours. I've heard the revolution's resistance is much better since the tension is constant. Many people say the written weight feels harder compared to free weights (e.g., 40 LBS on the revolution feels more compared to free weights). On the Power Rod system, the tension gets more closer to the stated weight once you reach toward the end of the exercise. Nonetheless, love the Bowflex and it's the only machine I needed to build strength.

There is an accessory stand that you can buy for all the extra weights and seat parts etc. I know because I purchased one.
