Forcing a retarget after 50% of your front dies is exactly why the range wedge performs the best as a general defensive formation. Since range doesn't charge forward and cav is on the wings, an inf blast will retarget to it's counter most likely and have a major damage dropoff.
Bro you should do more Videos...Sooo Many Lords CZcamsrs Try to explain this stuff but usually just say the same thing we have heard hundreds of times and We still are confused. .You Explain it at a Simple text book lvl and I understood Better than anything The rest have tried to explain it like
Wow great work! this is helpful as I thought formations had a larger role. Could you please speak more on how heros affect battles or a breakdown of how morale is formulated
Thanks for watching! We're always looking for new topics to make videos on- thanks for the suggestion! We can talk more about morale and heroes in upcoming videos.
LM Training Seminar I look forward to it! I like how you broke it down and highlighted the interactions of the formations & squads in battle. Maybe yall could touch on the benefits/drawbacks to a 2/2/1, (troop types are 40% and a third 20%) . It's a common march ratio and I'm certain yall could have something to say about the squads. In that configuration it seems there's 1 hero per 4 squads with less troops per squad, compared to the others with 2 heros. Wonder how that could work out in some theoretical battles 👍🏽
This is gold grade content bro. My R5 literally hammered me to open the Wedge formation and now seeing the video I understand Phalanxes and Wedges. Also, it does have a monetary, gems, speed component to it. Watching this video will definitely help (even the chinese) save their Kidneys. Keep up the good work! Looking forward to more of them. Note: You may want to use Flipcharts as slides and move them for the video. I am an L&D guy based out of India, hence the suggestion :)
TopScouser 87 No, you can’t test wedges vs wedges in testing. Also the test contain even troop count for everthing. The test formation is quite useless.
Also you lost me on that last part...even with bare bones and even stats plus numbers, a cav phal will always best an inf phal once you introduce the morale factor. The drills you can do when picking you formation proves this. Your front line gets so messed up your moral drops and ur guys turn tail before your ranges get to do anything to my cav
Depends. I also use the following for my understanding - If you get countered example - you send an inf to cavs, you do 1/3 of damage while taking 3 times damage - provided stats are same. If stats are different, ex. you have 300% and the guy has 600% stats. Multiply the numbers - you will do 1/6th of the damage while they will do 6 times the damage as his stats are 2 twice as much as yours.
@@dary0097 i don’t like it because as soon as you killed all the Range, their frontline is cavalry... For example the guy who was #1 in last KvK stood in Range wedge... After we killed his Range his cav got destroyed
Yo nicely done but cavs dont beat inf. I just got confused there. Inf does not be cavs at a equal troop count. Inf beat snipers, snipers beat cavs, And cavs beat inf. The closest target needs to be your choosen line up. So cavs would need sniper phaylnx. Unless hes in cav phaylnx with zero cavs then you adjust according.
This is awesome and super helpful! Thank y'all!
Excellent explanation, finally I understand more. Thanks for video!

Wow amazing people do such hard work like study
Cav spear beats inf phalanx for sure
Slight correction...inf is behind range in range phal. But well done

Yeah but still in the simulation cav phalanx beat inf phalanx so I'm still confused🤷🏾♂️
Because cav counters infantry bro
@@kenkoitv9150 bro I think inf defeats the archer right?

Bro can you the best defence formation?
I would say inf wedge...
@@xxxmobilegamingxxx1359 what about range wedge?

Cut him some slack bro ;) First Video. I am actually looking forward to more from him !
Bro hasn’t posted in a long time
no. inf will not beat cav in phalanx formation. this is wrong.
All I see is "Infintary"
Good video man! Well explained..
Wait. My game doesnt have an infintary phalanx. You mean infantry?
Wtf is a infintary
the soldiers that tank or in other words the front soldiers
all wrong
You are wrong
Put up a better video then - Gloworm
Bad explanation, it works another way...
Boring af
And you still found time to watch the 20min video and comment :-p
