- Hello everyone! Got requested a TON for a updated curly hair routine! So this is what I do for my hair in the summer since it needs extra moisturizers in my hair since it's so hot and it drys out so quick! This is how my hair normally curls! But I'm really lazy and I barley so my hair lol. But also the extra conditioners in the beginning helps my curls ALOT. because without that my hair gets frizzy really quick. +Stephanie Martin agreed. Conditioners are made to fulfill different things. It says rinse out for a reason, you're not suppose to let the product dry on your hair. If it says you can leave it in, then go for it but I wouldn't risk it.
+Gabriella Estrada if you use conditioners as a leave in and get it on the scalp during application, it could give you alopecia. Of course it's not gonna happen right away but rather be safe than sorry.

I feel the same way :( like I want my hair to stay down and be curly but instead, it turns very wide (if you get what I mean) and it has too much volume.

Same, I got crazy volume and curls but I got badly bullied at school because of it. Since then I never feel comfortable wearing my hair down. :( Watching videos like this help building some of that confidence back tho.

I have the exact same issues with my hair. I used to wash my hair once a week, but now I wash it twice a week.
same. I can't do my hair and wear it down the next day after sleeping. If I do a pineapple it stays in the direction of the pineapple so it looks like my hair is floating. if I just sleep on it my curls get crushed and matted.

the trick is using a pick or wide tooth comb, I usually don't like just taking out if the pineapple and wearing it but sometimes I do because I don't have time. you just have to be patient and work with it. I prefer at least dampening it first and then it goes back to how you actually want it to go
You should get a denman brush! You'll love it, it clumps curls effortlessly

I think it if you wet your hair a little before putting the mask on it would be more effective because hair when wet is alot more weaker therefore the masks can penetrate your hair easier.

Start from the bottom and work your way up, use a wide tooth comb! It helps with breakage and you don't lose as much hair! Detangle only as often as you need! Maybe like every other day . I only detangle in the shower/after the shower when my hair is wet! Never detangle your hair while its dry! You'll cause breakage!

I just use my fingers instead of a comb or brush (never brush). Only when I used to blow out/straighten but not anymore :D

+Nadia J sorry I forgot to clarify. Some people's hair is tougher than others and can take straightening and coloring often. Somebody told me she can never grow her hair out because it always begins to split when it gets to shoulder length and realized it's mainly based on genes. Idk.

You should try a Denman Brush instead of a soft bristle to clump your curls together! That's what I use!🙃 it's more for styling and defines your curls a lot more! I really recommend it I think you would love it too!💜

I like the way you come your hair. When my mom decides she wants to comb my hair randomly one day she doesn't hold my hair or start from the bottom like she's supposed to. She has straight hair and doesn't understand the struggle of curly hair. She starts combing my hair from my roots which results in my scalp hurting and lots of hair loss. That's why I avoid her combing my hair but then me avoiding her combing it makes her want to comb it more. Anyway I'm done ranting about my problems lol. You have really pretty hair and it's long too. You seems nice and you're really pretty. Keep up the good work.

Klari G 1) no more heat tools or dying your hair.
2) get a haircut to get rid of the damage
3) use hair products that are catered to your hair e.g. If you have dry hair use products for dry curly hair
4) be sure the products your using in your hair are sulphate, silicone, paraben and petroleum free.
5) get a silk/satin pillow case and use a microfibre towel instead of a regular one.
6) educate yourself with CZcams videos I'd recommend the CZcamsr curly penny

It's mostly in her genes. Her mother's hair grows super fast and is like down to her butt so.
In my case, my hair started to grow when I added to my diet green organic smoothies, zinc and probiotics. I'm 36 no gray hairs, my hair went from dull dark brown to shiny black
And don't forget your biotin and selenium! A hair/skin/nails pill really does make a difference for me.

I always get LOADS of frizz on the top of my head and I don't know what to do because I put loads of conditioner on it but it still gets frizzy but I don't put anything on my hair when I get out the shower so that might be it by at any advice💕 Also I'm a swimmer so I go 3 times a week and that might ruin it but I'm looking for some products to put in it when I get out so that its moisterised and shiny and healthy and not dry or damaged could you recommend any products
I'd recommend the two blue bottles of Renewing Argon Oil she uses in the video, I've used it & it does so much for my hair. Also try using Deep Conditioning mask & leave them wrapped up & overnight.
Don't you shower immediately after swimming? When I go swimming I bring my shampoo and conditioner and then after swimming I immediately wash and comb my hair. I leave the conditioner in my hair until I arrive at home and then I rinse it off. You have to wash your hair after swimming because the chlorine dries out your hair(or at least my hair)

Believe it or not if your hair gets really frizzy/greasy at the top, you may need to use less,sometimes anyway,or try leaving it in a t-shirt instead of a towel. also some days just wash your hair as normal but leave the conditioner in,it may look really greasy but once you wash it out the next day it will be super smooth and soft :))

You're right, I came here for the hair!!! My hair is about the same length and texture, but maybe 80% of your volume (before my sidecut), and my roots straighten out from the weight, I gotta take your tips to get that volume on the top of my head!
I liked the whole idea of brushing your actual hair after you comb it to keep the curls together.. never considered it.

At first it didn't dry out my hair, but after a couple months I noticed my hair was getting dry. I use cleansing conditioner now.
It probably dries out your hair because it contains silicones which leaves your hair soft and moisturized but when it builds up on your hair, it leaves a film not allowing moisture to come in or out.

I have thick curly hair and I've always hated it because it was so overwhelming and I didn't know how to manage it and I had no one to show me how ( because both my mom and my sister have straight hair). So I decided to cut it and that was the best decision I ever made, my hair was so dry and damaged but now all the dry hairs are gone and it became so healthy and not to mention easy to deal with!
