Hey family, I didn’t realize I had some thing in my hair throughout the video. Did you see it?😂 I was doing some yardwork before I started doing Nadia’s hair. Let me know if you see what I’m talking about.😅
greenish things yes, i saw it...hahaha. your daughter's hair is beautiful.
I saw it too, green plants...lol
What is the name of the dryer?
Yes some green stuff kkkkkk but never mind that.
What is the name of the drier?
What do you use on Nadia’s hair. Shampoo and conditioner you did not reply to my question. It’s Beautiful
I love a mom who takes care of her daughter’s hair… 👐🏾… great job… Blessings 🎊
"Brown skin girl, your skin just like pearls, the best thing in the world" 🎶🎶 Absolutely beautiful ❤❤
She’s so precious! She sat in the chair and got her hair done a lot better than me being extremely tender headed😂 Give her a prize a Big one!
Nadia is too too cute, with her beautiful little self blowing kisses. For Nadia 💜
Where can I buy Aloe Vera oil?

They can be really sweet during that stage. When they get older they sometimes want to do their own hair or want one of their peers to do it. I hope she will know her mother will be the best one to do her hair or know the best person to do it for her if mom doesn't want to do it at the time.
First…. Thanks for the video❤
I’m from the Caribbean and have plenty of aloe vera plants in the garden. We always put the aloe vera to soak in water before we use it. This to drawn the yellow substance out. Soak 10 minutes, change the water and soak again for 5 minutes✅
Try soaking your pieces of aloe in water for about 30 minutes and it will release the alum yellow sap that causes itching.
Thanks for letting us know
Another method is to removing all the skin and rinse the gel. The gel can also be then blended to make application easier. Don't add any water to the blender when blending, it will produce its own liquid
@@joanhenderson4295is not ❤
Yes, soaking the pieces & then rinsing them beore you dry them gets rid of that itchy latex. Also, wash the whole aloe leaf first before slicing it at all.
Thanks Ladies, for this advise. My scalp would scratch for days😒, so I would avoid using it. I will try again base on your suggestions.
I love how nurturing you are with your baby reminds me of when my girls were little. Your daughter is lucky to have such a good mom and she is beautiful thank you for your video very informative.
The love between this mom and daughter makes my heart skip a beat with happiness. And Nadia is just beautiful!

Hi RN Mercy, what is the exact name of the blow dryer tool you are using??? I want to buy one right away, thank you in advance. Great Video by the the way!!!❤️

Absolutely, positively gawgeous little girl. Just like her Mommy. Yes, she's growing so much. Thanks Mercy for all of your valuable information. Blessings to you both 🙏😘👭🤗🙏
I've always braided my girls' edges like this with various styles and it definitely allows them to grow. I mainly started doing it to keep the styles looking neat for longer periods of time. And yes, bring on the skin care routine.
Aww, she seems like very sweet little princess! She's very beautiful, snd seems like a good little lady ! I wish I could just hold her, and give her PLENTY of hugs! She certainly is 3 times a beautiful lady!! And you certainly did a very great job on her hair!
A hair washing tip… I had three girls, I would have put them up on the kitchen counter, lay their head back over the kitchen sink, wash their hair using the sink sprayer, because they were small it worked like a beautician’s shampoo bowl, water flowed away from their face and eyes, and It was easier on my back because you are standing. Once done scrub your sink clean.😊
She's so cute and adorable! Mercy showed her the way the dryer works first to prep her so sweet. This little girl is such an Angel so pleasant sat there like a lil lady. I was terrible getting my hair done as a kid my moms constantly had to stop me.
Hi Mercy. What a great job on your daughter's hair. Her hair is long and healthy. You're a great mom!
Nadia’s skin care routine is something I’d like to see ❤maybe I can try it on my daughter
Can’t wait to try it. Right after I turn 50yr young, my hair is shrinking. Thank you for sharing
Nadia is so beautiful and adorable!!! Her hair is so long and healthy!!! Keep up the amazing work Mercy!!!🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽🥰🥰
What little Princess!!! God Bless Nadia. ❤🎉. Thanks so much for sharing this video. Wow 😮Nadia has a head full of beautiful hair.
I cut the big end off and let the rest stand in water for awhile. You can see the water change to a light yellow tint. I have never encountered itching. The baby is getting grownup and her personality is showing on the videos. ❤❤❤
Putting a shampoo cape with a sanex strip will help keep the aloe off her neck. thanks for this video. I will be trying this.
The aloe laytex is what makes us itch. The remedy is to cut the prickly edges off, slice it up, soak in water for about 15 minutes, rinse, add new water, let soak for another 15 minutes. Rinse until the water is nolonger yellow. From this process, the aloe is now usable for any recipe you want to make without the itch. Including drinkable aloe water 😊❤
I just bought some aloe & will do that tomorrow THANKS🙏😍
I use Aloe Vera everyday since little girl over 60 years not just hair but skin and never have we done this technique not even my Am'mā maṟṟum pāṭṭi, never have itching, we drink கற்றாழை செடி with water and lime only not for hair growth just overall health benefits.
Wow everyone has shrinkage when washing their hair. 😂😂
Beautiful
Your daughter is adorable and did a great job sitting in front of the camera without squirming during the entire demonstration which was very informative. I grow a lot of Aloe, just waiting for it to get big enough to start cutting it for my hair. If I may make a few small suggestions,
1. Use a towel around her neck to prevent any itching.
2. Use a twist tie without the metal which can help prevent the hair from breakage. FYI if you have a Dollar Tree near your area, that's where I get mine. 😊
I enjoyed this video so much! What an adorable little girl and awesome Mommy!!!
7:32pm. You did a perfect job. THANKYOU & “ GOD” BLESS. ❤️
Yes ma’am we want to see our niece’s Nadia’s skin care routine!!!
Nadia is being so patient. She’s a big girl.❤😊
The itch is from the yellow juice that comes out between the white gel and the green leaf. So it is better to take out the gel or to not go all the way down to the green part of the leaf. That should help reduce any itching
What a cute little girl. So patient, loving and adorable. 😇😇😇
Hello Mercy and Nadia. Love the aloe vera routine. It has changed the growth life of my hair. Thank You
Wonderful! You are welcome
@@mercygonoRNHi can you use aloe vera on relaxed hair?
@@Von135 Yes, I use it on my relaxed hair. Saw Mercy during the pandemic. I actually leave the aloes in my hair as a leave in conditioner after I shampoo and condition it. It has my hair light and flowing when it's styled.
@@TM-pj9vv Hi, and thank you Love. 💗

This is my first time seeing your videos. I just bought my first bottle. Like your baby girl my edges are thinner than the rest of my hair. I pray this works. I’ll definitely keep your followers and you updated 🖤 God Bless 🌿
Any update?
@@prettiilexii672 ONE MONTH UPDATE: I have noticed growth. The back of my hair where I had a thinning spot, has grown in but not as much as I would like. The front of my hair is taking longer to see true results. I would say everybody’s hair is different and to be consistent. You might get better results 🖤
Hello!! So glad I came across your channel! You make things so easy! I have braids in my hair now but when I take them down I will definitely be trying this for the first time. Thank you so much!

Repost:
In the Caribbean, we grew up swallowing slices of peeled aloes for our health (blood, gut, skin, and general body cleaning). And wash it down with water. The slime is just as good. An acquired practice.
That same itchy slime we used on our faces when we broke out with acne as teenagers. As our faces became very firm/tight, we would wash it off, bearing the little itching because it was an indicator that it's goodness was penetrating our skin to treat with the pimples.
And after washing and conditioning my hair, I pour the strained aloe juice (minimal water) on my hair, massage it in, squeeze the excess and allow it to air dry most of the times. When it's damp, I then twist my relaxed hair (heatless curls) in the Minnie Mouse style into 2 big Bantu knots. And I'm good to go as is for work or play.
I avoid the itching on my neck by using a dark face towel around my neck to prevent itching and stains.
Yes yuk remember when grama gave us aloe drink lol with milk
I never heard of aloe vera until I was of age.
What type of dryer are you using.
Trini?
@@vcalibur1 Air-dry. Then I would twist it for heatless curls or wrap it (with more aloe juice) or put it in a ponytail. I use a blow-dryer and a ceramic flatiron when I what bone-straight hair.
I use my hooded dryer once in a while, especially when wrapping my hair.
Lovely healthy hair. It looks really good.
She is so oh so very beautiful her complexion is lovey she sits and allows her mom to take care of her hair, such a well disciplined little girl, much Blessings
She's so cute and good idea mom for braiding the edges to protect them.
The oil is amazing y’all gotta try it now!!!
Where do I find the oil?
I will definitely be trying this. My hair needs a lot of help especially around the edges. Lupus and stress has damaged my hair terribly! Hopefully this routine will put some life back into my hair!! Thank You so much for sharing!!

She does really well to be bent over. Mom mom would lay me on the ironing board and pull it up to the kitchen sink, and I loved it. When I had my daughter I used the ironing board method to wash her hair as well❤😂
Is it a must to use the machine

Thank you so much❤
I am going to try that thank you for sharing it with us
I like what you are doing i need that hair dryer and the aloe vera oil i love it
I'm on of those that gets a crazy itch when I apply Aloe Vera to my scalp and hair. How I've managed to work around that is, after cutting it into pieces, I peel it then soak it in a bowl of water for an hour. After an hour I refresh the water and soak another hour. I repeat one more time. So in total I soak the aloe vera for a total of 3 hrs before I use it. This way I get no itch.
I grew up swallowing slices of peeled aloes.
I avoid the itching on my neck by using a dark face towel to prevent itching and stains.
yes water take out the itchy substance
Definitely going to try this method because I want to avoid having an itchy scalp
Try soaking it for 5-10 minutes before using
No need for hours. The water has to stay clear and you’re done. We use it on my island for ever, never itching if you soak it for 10-15 minutes. How you know it won’t itch?? If the water stays clear✅
The dismissive information about "the itch" from aloe vera is very concerning, especially when it's coming from an RN. That itch is caused by alum and can trigger severe latex allergy. SOAK YOUR ALOE VERA IN WATER BEFORE YOU USE IT.
I am allergic to latex ie it causes anaphyalaxis! So even when I took two different types of antihistamine, my scalp was on fire!!! I can use Aloe Vera but I soak for 24 hours overnight to make sure the alum comes out. I have too admit, I too was a little shocked that as a RN she was very dismissive of the allergy. I would like to thank everybody who have advised everybody just to soak it first regardless. I was never always allergic to latex. Allergies can develop.
FACT!
@@maryapatterson you can soak it for 30
Mins and you wont have that itch
Can't wait to try this method for hair growth. I think heat dsmaged mine s couple years ago and now it's not growing properly.
