  • We know Bryan White (bryanwhite.com) for his smash Country singles like "God Gave Me You," "Rebecca Lynn," and "From This Moment" with Shania Twain. But we came to love the Grammy-winning country music artist for his humble candor as he shared his heartbreaking story of losing his voice and identity at the peak of his musical career, and his on-going healing and discovery that who you are is not what you do. Also Leigh Cappillino of Point of Grace (www.pointofgra...) joins Bryan for a special musical moment! Don't miss a single episode of Dinner Conversations-subscribe above! #DinnerConversations #MarkLowry #AndrewGreer #BryanWhite

I just love how Mark & Andrew flow together. It always tickles me whenever Mark rolls over a moment when Andrew is asking a guest a question or about to make a point. Andrew just chuckles, then he looks over his right shoulder and chat with someone off camera. I love Andrew's smile & chuckle. These gentleman are hilarious!!!

I loved Brian White. I saw him in Lubbock, Texas. That's exactly where I saw a guy named Mark Lowry, I don't know if you heard about him or not but he's a pretty funny and awesome singer. Thank you for being so nice and personable when people go to meet you. Brian White was my son's first concert. He was six or seven years old. I remember when he was clapping everybody's hand that my son wanted to go to the stage as well. It was a fun night. In 98 I started listening to Christian music exclusively and still do today. It was something I felt convicted of doing. I am glad to hear about his Christian music. Thank you for this interview. Mark, if you ever come close to Lubbock or Amarillo I'll be there. My favorite part of Mary Did You Know is when you sing "Is the great I Am", that is my favorite name for Him.

I abosuletly loved Bryan White. When I was younger, I went to one of his concerts while I was in high school. I do remember meeting him and gave a little teddy bear. If I remember right. It had to been of somewhere in the "90's. Bryan is still a great singer.

THANK YOU - each of you - Andrew, Mark, Leigh, Bryan - you're soooooo appreciated - I'm a senior that has been blessed to sing with one of Canada's premiere choirs - The Regina Philharmonic Chorus - (have a great story about a Handel's Messiah performance), but have had to deal with a move of a lifetime, abandonment by my 'christian' family, loss of the fellowship of my 'church family', and it's been your music, your programs and the faithful men of God, teaching the Word of God, that has sustained me through this - praying God's blessings for each of you, always~

It's because of his Rebecca Lynn song is how our daughter got her name. I honestly never knew where he went or why. 💗 thank you for this interview. Bless you all.

I have seen Bryan White in concert when I was pregnant with my daughter. When I was in labor the video for Rebecca Lynn came on and that got me through labor without killing her dad…lol

@@dinnerconversationswithmar2965 Unfortunately not in person lol. My best friend Clayton performed on the Country Rewind tour with him I believe last year. Had I answered my phone, I would've gotten to personally talk to him. I was working so I couldn't get to my phone. I still kick myself over that 😞

I remember going to see him for the second time in a little country bar place in Michigan in 1996 or so. I got him a Bible with his name engraved on it with an Alpha Omega bracelet in it. At the next concert we saw him at he was wearing the bracelet and I was very surprised and happy. I am so glad he has the close relationship with God now that I had always hoped he’d have one day. 🙏🏻♥️

Bryan White you were created for a purpose! Jeremiah 29:11. Gods not done with you yet. He can still use you as an instrument. May God bless your testimony and use it to further His kingdom. Maybe God desires you to sing in the Christian genre??? OK… that’s me wishing and hoping.😉
Truly I will pray for healing. God can. In his complete timing, he will. Hugs!

I am currently watching this episode. I am about a quarter way through. I thought I’d share regarding trauma and your voice. I am not a singer but have experienced gaps in my voice-like my air runs out. I have learned much about trauma this last year-one resource that came my way was ‘The polyvagal theory’ by Dr. Porges. I have not read it yet-there is a condensed version, as I think it is a complex read. Likely you are already versed on the vagus nerve and the voice, but just in case I thought I’d share this with you. Dr. Porges’s knowledge about stress and the pathophysiology of the body is quite impressive-he also incorporates trauma in his teachings.
Thank you Mark, Andrew and Bryan for bringing life and ‘light’ into my Monday evening.
Another resource regarding trauma is ‘The body keeps the score’ this one I am currently reading and find it beyond helpful. Neither of these men have professed a belief in Christ to my knowledge, yet I find them both intellectually gifted and compassionate men.
Thank you so much for ‘What I already know’-beautiful song. I have been asking myself some tough questions lately, thankfully my pastor said questions are fine.
All I really need is just a little more faith to believe what I already know.
Aaaah to trust in the promises of grace and to know that he will never leave or forsake us.
Gods peace be with you all.

I WAS Bryan's biggest male fan, since Eugene You Genius, but he likes to block people on Twitter, when they have a different opinion. Sorry, Bryan. Country music is more open minded now, to different points of view. He WAS my absolute favorite, because I grew up performing, singing tenor/alto as a male as well. We have special voices.
Still listen to his music, but no longer a fan of him as a person. Glen was right to sign you and work with you. You have a true gift. I knew Glen. I live in Phoenix and he wouldn't be so judgmental. He wasn't. He was a sweet person.

Bryan White, look into EMDR therapy for trauma. It's very very effective.
