THIS IS KULFI WITH A TWIST at KUREMAL MOHAN LAL. This is id kulfi in a fruit, yes you read that right this is kulfi inside of whole fruit.
We bring for you from the streets of old delhi,
Kuremal Mohanlal wale a fruit kulfi joint which is more than 100 years old established in 1906 in old Delhi
You may find umpteen number of kulfi stalls in and around Delhi. Kulfi is a go-to dish during summers and is liked by many.
It is a must have to quench your thirst and to refill your sugar levels that go down in summers.
The story of this shop " KUREMAL AND MOHANLAL KULFI WALE" dates back to 1900 when Mr. Kuremal came up with this brilliant idea of stuffing kulfi in fruits.
Yes, you heard that right its pure milk kulfi stuffed in the core of fruits with fruit juices.
Earlier in 1900's they had a small stall in the narrow lanes of old Delhi chawri bazaar serving two types of kulfi: Plain Doodh and Kesar Pista later with the success of the same came the idea of FRUIT KULFI or FRUIT STUFFED KULFI.
Today the kuli is a real fruit whose pulp is mixed with milk and other secret ingredients and are put back into the fruit, froze and then cut into pieces to eat.
when we visited the stall to get a taste of the iconic stuffed kulfi, it was another kulfi that caught our attention. Resembling modern day ice-cream, the milk-free kulfis, which they call 'Kulfi Julepas',
