I’m so glad you gave CBD a try! I work in the hemp/cannabis industry on the West Coast, and I just wanted to say two things about CBD oil:
-The cost is high right now, but it is definitely coming down with the growing demand for affordable CBD options!
-Idk if your doctor told you this, but with regular use of the CBD your body should respond better over time so hopefully you’ll start feeling the effects soon. I see it in a large number of the patients I work with.
Your physician sounds very well informed on the topic, so sorry if these are both old news to you. I’m just excited to see you giving it a fair shot!

I use CBD oil as well you won’t regret it. Although mine has a little THC. It’s the only thing that really helps me with pain. My mom and Grandma use it to. My grandma uses medical marijuana as well she loves it so much it doesn’t get her high. No one has ever died from using medical marijuana. She lives in Florida as well and it was legalized in Florida for medical purposes in July or something like that. It’s really helped her with her fibromyalgia so much. She used to lay in bed all day when she would flare up. But now with medical marijuana if she starts hurting she can put the oil on whatever hurts and feel better within minutes. She calls her miracle marijuana and she doesn’t smoke it. You can get oils and edibles that look like candy. I know it may seem that I feel strongly about it but that’s only because it’s changed my grandmas life and mine to.

Talon Sage, You are so right. After I became ill, and had no diagnosis yet....my ex-husband told me that I wasn't the woman I was when we married (which obviously was true). I found myself chronically ill, and needed love and support. Instead I was informed that I needed to do the following things on a list (and yes, I was literally given a list!), if I wanted our marriage to work. Needless to say, he wasn't the man that I thought I had married. Note...I referred to him as my 'ex-husband'. It's not easy for any involved individuals to go through chronic illness, so I give Judd and Jaquie a big HIGH 5!! :)

Sugar, my wife suffers with chronic pain, I appreciate this video, maybe this stuff will help her. You sure seem like a nice young lady and I hope you find some relief. Your video did help me so maybe I can help you back with a little pulled pork cooking tip. I have been making it for over 40 years. Get a Boston Butt or Pork shoulder, no matter how large or small it will be cooked the dame way. Coat the entire out side with vegetable oil (This locks the juices in while it's cooking) Turn your oven on to temperature 190 degrees and put the shoulder in the oven in the evening to come out the next day preferably around noon or after. It won't burn or overcook and the inside will be so juicy you won't believe it. The meat will absolutely fall apart. I also use an electric powered smoker for the same thing. either will work, the only difference is the smoker you can put real wood in.

If you went through cbd distillery, you could have gotten 500 mg cbd extract in 15ml of coconut oil, for only $35. Jaquie, I rewatched this video and am making a late comment. I looked up the product you purchased, and even though you got the stronger of the two dosages they make, 750 mg is still a low to medium dosage. You said that the recommended dosage was 5 drops. You easily took about 30. The little 'nipple' end of the dropper holds about 10 drops. When I use it, and I advise other people as well to measure it into a spoon and then get it under your tongue. It's great that you did a patch test with the product on your arm. I happen to have allergies to many fragrances and artificial flavorings. With the large amount you took, you may have had a sensitivity to the flavoring agent. I did find a product that I did not have a problem with through Amazon. (You have to love Amazon Prime; if you don't like it, you can send it back). Another nice thing about the oil is that you have a great deal of flexibility with dosing. You can begin with what your doctor or friend recommend then add a drop per dose until you get the results you are looking for, or you could choose to use it topically by creating a cream using the product you have. Please, never buy the topical preparations; they are so overpriced, but they are the preferred method of delivery by many people. Wishing you well as always.

Miss Karla i am sorry to say you calculated incorrectly.
5 drops of a 750 mg per 1 oz bottle is ~ 12 mg (2.4 mg per drop)
A 3000 mg per ounce bottle will usually dose to about 6 mg per drop. Resulting in a 30 mg dose.
Proper dosing for pain begins usually about 25 mgs for some people, and can be as high as 75-100 mgs per dose.

      @kimbo500 Před 5 lety

@@RoadTripEddie , I'm confused, if there are 20 drops/ml, and 30ml/ounce, then there are 600 drops to the 1 ounce bottle. If there is 750mg to 1 ounce (600 drops), then where do you get 6mg per drop? Sorry if I am being dense, but what am I not seeing correctly? Help!

I tried 10% for Hypermobility pain,IBS, Fibromyalgia, chronic fatigue. It definitely made a difference , I wasn't as fuzzy headed, but didn't last very long. So next bottle going up a strength, it's all trial and error. I hope this helps and you find a dosage that makes the difference, best wishes xx

I followed your link to the site you bought your CBD oil from and on the website under the "use" column for the product you are trying it says 1-3 droppers. That suggests to me 1-3 full droppers worth of oil and to repeat as needed, not simply 5 drops. Definitely triple check the dosage as 5 drops may not contain enough CBD to have any effect. Best of luck with it all.

I wish I could tell this Jaquie on this day that she has so much good in store when it comes to her health! AFOs will help so much, she will gain her independence back. CBD (and THC) will be a complete game changer. It’s so great to see how far she’s come and I’m so glad I have been along for the ride. My health has been running somewhat parallel and I’ve been helped so much by her, not only by trying some of the same things but it has been moral support too. Let’s all try to live as though someone from the future just told us that we have a lot of good in store and so much to look forward to. Wouldn’t that be a fantastic way to live?

Hey Jaquie. I don't know what you research on cbd oils. So here little info, and if you did, you dont have to read any further. 😁 You also want to look where the plant are grown at. Germany is great because they have strict laws on soil. Because the plants easily absorb everything in the soil. Many soils may have traces of metal and toxic soils. Making the product to be toxic with lead and mercury. Also look at how the oil was extracted. The best method is CO2 under high pressure and low temps. More expensive but you don't want to use cheap methods using propane or butane that may contain your oil to have nasty toxic solvents.
    Hope the oils help.

I was thinking that would be a good idea. It would help with a little relaxation to help with pain. Pain makes you tense up, even if you don't realize it. I'm 46 and starting get the aches and pains with age. I bet it would help with old age aches and pains.
One older man said once, " Let older people take any Illegal drug we want in exchange for giving up our drivers license." Can you imagine cutting out the pharm companies? They don't want drugs legalize because they would not make money by gouging the American people, it is natural, makes you a little paranoid as far as driving, although that is a bad idea, and stated who have legalized i are not debt due to taxes. If every state did this they could do so much to better the community. I live in Republican controlled WI where they like to regulate gov even though they say the are for less butting into peoples' personal lives. I call BS.

Kieran Prince you need medical Marihuana no thc. Chop or grind almost to powder. Take an old jam jar or mason jar, put in your medical Marihuana then cover with vegetable glycerin to the top of chopped Marihuana. Put lid on but not tightened sit the jar in a saucepan of water (just enough water to come level with jar contents) bring to a staedy simmer. Let simmer for a good 3 hours or so no set timescale really. Occasionally lift out of the water tighten lid give it a shake loosen lid and put back in the water. Once you are happy strain it through muslin cloth and squeeze out as much as you can then strain again through a coffee filter. Then store it in a clean jar and your good to top up a dropper bottle as you need. O no set amount of medical Marihuana as much as you can afford vegetable glycerin is not expensive either. There are youtube videos somewhere here abouts. Good luck

It might take you up to two or three months to get the right balance of what you need for your body. Only thing I will say is, look in the mirror when you’re putting the drops under your tongue so you can watch how many you’re getting and as time goes on you will become a guru and you won’t have to do that. Many hugs for you, have a wonderful day. Donna ♥️ and Kitty 🐾

Nancy Garner why do people say 'a husband (or wife) is a keeper?.
When one makes a vow to God and each other, it is for life. Ie: already a keeper if it's a husband.
That's why people 'date' for a few years, to determine if they are worthy of marriage.

Just a warning for vegetarians, vegans, piscatarians (and other non consumeries of poultry and/or meat): The emu oil comes from a bird commonly found in Australia. So please be aware of the other ingredients in your medications, treatments, and other products (such as standard stuff like shampoo, conditioners, shower/bath gel/creme, soap, lotions, deodorants, etc).

Thank you for sharing Phoenix. I heard Emu and immediately had inner questions.

    • @grinninggoat5369
      @grinninggoat5369 Před 5 lety

You do realize you are talking about Emu oil to people with chronic pain issues who, in many cases, are willing to break laws with dire penalties to themselves and families if caught in order to just attain some temporary relief, right?
People in chronic pain listen here, just take what works and doesn't cause you or other people more problems than it's worth, even if an Emu has to feel the squeeze for it OK, you'll at least feel well enough to travel to the Emu's grave and leave it some flowers for it! To hell with the Emu and Horse hooves sob stories in light of the bigger issue of preventable human suffering. If you can afford more expensive stuff without the natural oils and gelatins and other stuff fine, but you aren't a villain if you can't either!
I can pretty much guarantee that when at the point of trying CBD oil for the legit relief of chronic pain, that wondering if the oil is vegan or not would not be in the top 1,000 worries on their minds at the moment, especially if the product with Emu oil works well. In that case then, to the oil press with the Emus! Your info is noted but, I'm just saying... what was your point to address in a video on CBD oil for chronic pain, the topic of veganism and the use of Emu oil in CBD? ya' know? If it works for people and happens to have animal products in it, so what? To cry for Emus and mess up what works to try find something that doesn't have an animal product in it?
If Soylent Green is all you have to survive on or to make life manageable without excruciating pain, you don't spit it out just because you find out what it's made from or how it's made if it doesn't give negative effect to anything but one's sense subjective fairness.... no matter if made from people, emus, politicians, puppies, etc..... it doesn't matter at that point unless you want to be an unrealistic altruist that will suffer for another persons' or species' causes and their own will to survive on other's misguided sympathies!
So, why "a warning for vegetarians, vegans, piscatarians (and other non consumeries of poultry and/or meat)" here over issues of what is moral or not in light of other's own need of pain relief or a vegan's lack of due diligence on what they are taking into their body as a medicine? I can see your concern if maybe a lot of people were allergic to Emu oil but they are not. Are you the world's saviour from themselves or something?
If veganism was the answer to health issues for an omnivorous species, why do just as many vegans take "natural medicines" or supplements to fix their health problems same as non-vegans do? lol
( Sorry everyone, please disregard all my previous smug ranting above, it is just the chronic pain talking. I'm a vegan who recently stopped using a CBD oil that worked because I found out on youtube that it had Emu oil in it and the ones I can find or afford without it is lacking in relief! But, I'd rather be altruistic than treat my pain efficiently, if you don't mind.)

From the description of the product you gave that product isn't CBD oil, its hemp oil and that's a big difference. Hemp oil hardly contains any CBD at all, hemp oil is also the stuff that many stores online sell dirt cheap because people don't know the difference between the two.
Here in the UK many people vape CBD as its the most effective way to absorb CBD. I vape 1000mg CBD and it has a near instant effect on my arthritis and fibromyalgia pain. Vaping in the states is now in the news as a few people have recently died but in the UK the ingredients are regulated and much safer.
If you want a good oil there are many to choose from and a product from Canabidol Limited is very good and priced around £20.
As always if you see any reference to hemp on the label its not CBD. Avoid it and go for a full spectrum CBD.
You can't vape CBD oil either. If you want to vape it has to be made especially for vaping.
One last tip is to look at the label and check its extracted from phytocannabinoids as that's the real stuff.

I'm a HUGE believer in CBD oil. Nothing else has even touched my Trigeminal Neuralgia pain. I will say it took about 5-6 months of consistent dosing (a dropperfull twice a day) or Bluebird Botanicals 6X Classic concentrated CBD oil. But after the first 6 months or so, I noticed I wasn't having to keep my right eye closed all the time and was opening both eyes in many of my vlogs (which hadn't happened before!). I do have EDS, and I do highly recommend Bluebird Botanicals, though I'm sure you've gotten many recommendations, so I'm not trying to make you change, just letting you know their products have been great for me, especially since they now also have a CBD vape liquid. The combination of the CBD sublingual tincture, and the vaping CBD liquid, it helps me get through the day as far as calming anxiety, inflammation, it's not an immediate pain relief, and it doesn't take all pain away, but i take 20 drops of their 6x concentrated formula twice a day, and vape their e-liquid CBD throughout the day, and it's been wonderful for someone who doesn't live in a legal state and therefore can't get a medical card for MMJ or anything. I also love that Bluebird offers the product quality report on every batch of every oil they make, so maybe a factor to consider! Great video!

Mary Carlisto Oh Wow! Sorry to hear you had such a terrible reaction. It seems to me that the verdict hasn’t been decided on CBD as I am always reading contradictory information about it. It hasn’t been very helpful to me but it has really helped my aunt. Just one of the many things that seems to affect people very differently. Sending fellow warrior well wishes your way!

There needs to be another term for foods that naturally doesn't contain gluten (hemp is one), so gluten free can still mean that gluten has been taken out. Only wheats and barley naturally contain gluten. It gets taken out while being made into flour.

Also, in Florida you may be able to get you mmj card and get CBD oil from a dispensary with more good healing terpenes and cannabinoids. So don’t give up if the hemp based oil doesn’t touch your pain...it may not be enough!

Hi Jaquie, I just wanted to let you know that you are using a Tincture! Not a true CBD oil. I know you have issues with your POTS, and I'm not a medical doctor, but it really shouldn't affect that. There are better ways to make it now, but if you want to know more about TRUE CBD oil, check out the man who created it. He's on CZcams and his name is Rick Simpson and it's called Phoenix Tears.TRUE cbd oil should look more like axle grease (Judd will know what that looks like), a very thick black almost paste consistency. You would only take the size of a pea on the end of your pinky finger. The tincture do not work for me so after a few tries, I made the easier, and safer way to make it last month and have gotten WONDERFUL results. Tincture work for some people for for those of us with 24/7 chronic pain, it doesn't work as well. Here in Maine, I am allowed to grow my own and I do so organically--the last thing I need is synthesized chemicals and fertilizers so I use all natural everything! Also, is your tincture alcohol or glyercin based? That too makes a difference in its potency and effectiveness. Glycerin based isn't quite as strong and that's great for some. I am a writer and journalist and am just shy of my B.S. in Natural Health. (I too had to put my last three courses on hold due to a set-back) but if you would like more info or links to inform and research more, please let me know. I am on Facebook where you can pm me if you wish. Feel better soon! Namaste, Shantiann

Will be praying the CBD oil helps. I hope your POTS calms down. Do you take any beta blockers to help with Tachycardia, Or just do the IV saline? I know what works for some wont work for others. I went through 6 or 7 different medications before I found one that didn't give me horrible effects. The school shooting is so heart breaking. To wonder how scared those students and teachers might have been. So sad. And Judd and you are so wonderful together, And can't forget about Harlow.

Hi Jaquie. Rest assured, even in Canada we are praying for the families of the victims and all affected by the high school shooting in Parkland. My heart hurts for everyone.
I do not have all of the chronic illnesses you suffer from, but I do suffer from chronic pain 24/7, 365. Mine is related to a spine/spinal cord injury I had 8 years ago. I tried CBD oil, CBD oil with very low THC and nothing has helped my pain (the THC did make my head spacey, which I hated so I've not tried it again). The last time I went to our Cannibinoid clinic, I was told to try the herbal variety (with a vapour inhaler) so I've had that for a month or so now and it's done nothing either. I will admit I don't take it on a regular basis, but I was told that the herbal variety should impact you more immediately as opposed to having to build the oil up in your system. I don't know what to believe anymore abut what is best for whom and when, haha. Anyways, I hope you have success! You certainly deserve to have relief and I look forward to hearing about how it goes for you. Best of luck! xoxox Heather🇨🇦

Where did you get a colorful collar bone/posture brace? I've never seen one and I'd love some variety instead of just the black brace I have to wear all of the time!!
