- Nuh, or Noah is the 71st chapter of the Quran, the Holy Book for Muslims. This recitation is the entire chapter and it really hit me. The way it sounds and feels is truly sublime and interestingly this chapter in the Quran is almost entirely a prayer coming from Noah himself. Yes this is the same Noah as in the Bible but in this story it's not a Worldwide flood- which was interesting to note.

The Qur'an is a guidebook that tells people that they have a purpose in life and the purpose it is not subjective but rather we have an objective purpose which is to know and learn that we are greation of the Greater allah and we have to be grateful to allah submit to his will..

Thanks Ivonne, so this is called a "recitation". The person is simply reading the verses but in a melodious tone, which is advised. It's very soothing and beautiful and yes there are many similarities between the Bible and Qur'an :)

You can listen to many beautiful readers and I recommend you raad mohemmed elkurdi his voice is very beautiful but try to lisen to videos with english subtitles to understand well
